Apollo 11 was the mission in which Commander Neil Armstrong and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin landed on the Moon on July 20, 1969. The phrase “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” is famous as Neil Armstrong’s words at that moment.
