ORIX Bank: The Perfect Boss – “An Overachieving Woman” EditionRyoko Shinohara
This commercial features Ryoko Shinohara as the ultimate, exceptionally capable boss, and promotes Orix Bank’s card loan as a recommendation for people who are relied upon like her.
It portrays a superior who truly understands her subordinate’s hard work, and the strength in her expression conveys a sense of trust.
Although the story may seem unrelated to a card loan, by intentionally depicting this, it communicates that this is a card loan trusted by those whom others depend on.
ORIX “Robot Rental” VersionRina Kawaei
In this “Robot Rental” segment, Rina Kawaei and her boyfriend are at an event venue when they come across an AI robot providing guidance.
True to the series’ style, Kawaei delivers a rapid, fluent explanation—not only about this robot, but also about robots active in various settings.
And it seems that Rina Kawaei’s senior, a humanoid robot, is named “Mirai Madoka.”
Orix “Renewable Energy” EditionRina Kawaei
A series of commercials featuring Rina Kawaei, portrayed as being in her third year at ORIX, who talks about ORIX Group’s businesses while on dates with her boyfriend.
In the latest “Renewable Energy” edition, she ‘experiences’ a solar power system by basking in the sunlight.
She then explains ORIX’s power generation business, and the ending—where she quizzes her boyfriend with “So how many kilowatts is it now?” and leaves him flustered—is quite funny.
ORIX: “Rina Kawaei to launch a new venture?!”Rina Kawaei
In this commercial from the series where Rina Kawaei works as an Orix employee, it starts a bit differently from usual: she’s put in charge of a new business and sent to Hokkaido.
Remembering from long ago that “you can generate electricity with potatoes,” she begins by digging up potatoes and uses them to produce power.
However, the punchline is that Orix is already running large-scale power generation projects.
ORIX ‘Aquarium’ VersionRina Kawaei
A series of commercials where former AKB48 member Rina Kawaei plays a third-year employee at ORIX and explains the ORIX Group’s lines of business.
In this “Aquarium” version, she’s excitedly enjoying a date at the aquarium when she suddenly comes to her senses and briskly delivers a rapid-fire explanation of the company’s operations.
Her boyfriend is stunned.
Once she finishes, she starts getting excited again as if the explanation had happened to someone else.
The instant switch between her on and off modes is really amusing.
ORIX: Continued ‘Press Conference’ ChapterIchiro, Rina Kawaei
In this “Press Conference: Continued,” which is also a sequel to the previous “Press Conference” segment, we once again see Ichiro surrounded by reporters.
As before, he asks the reporters some questions.
This time, the reporters respond as if they’ve been waiting for it, but it seems there’s still more to come.
Rina Kawaei appears at the end, tying it into the commercial where she explains the business.
ORIX Group Commercials: Introducing the memorable songs and cast from the ads (21–30)
ORIX HOTELS & RESORTS “What Makes a Good Trip?” EditionWakana Matsumoto
This commercial promotes the idea that ORIX HOTELS & RESORTS makes great trips possible, as conveyed through Wakana Matsumoto’s presence.
The place she visits is HAKONE ASHINOKO HANAORI, and it depicts her relaxing on the water-terrace that looks out over Lake Ashi.
From the way she talks there about what makes a good trip, you can feel that she’s enjoying a fulfilling journey and a moment of tranquility.
The visuals also spark curiosity about what other locations there are and what kinds of experiences await.
