Tomorrow as wellSHISHAMO

Since its release in 2017, SHISHAMO’s “Ashita mo,” one of the band’s signature songs, has continued to be loved and has been featured in multiple commercials.

In 2017, it was used in a DOCOMO student discount commercial, and in 2025 it was featured again in a Mitsuya Cider commercial.

The Mitsuya Cider ad used a special collaboration version with Erika Ikuta and SHISHAMO, which became a hot topic.

Many people have likely found courage in the lyrics’ message—encouraging us to keep doing our best tomorrow, even with everything that happens in our daily lives.

Rose of PassionTHE BLUE HEARTS

The Suntory commercial that touched so many hearts, “Places Where People Are: Restaurants Are Part of Life.” Set to THE BLUE HEARTS’ ‘Jounetsu no Bara’ (Rose of Passion), it depicts various anime characters enjoying meals at restaurants.

Through this, it conveys how important restaurants are.

The lyrics, which sing about ways of living, are sure to move you as well.

Driver's HighL'Arc〜en〜Ciel

This commercial conveys the fulfillment and joy of a life with a car through the image of Nanao speeding along in a vehicle.

The fact that the car racing through is an older model is also a key point, suggesting that with Car Sensor you can find your ideal car.

The song used in this commercial is L’Arc~en~Ciel’s “Driver’s High.” Its lyrics and sound capture the exhilaration of driving, and it also conveys a sense of hope—like carving out your own future through your own strength.

In fact, the commercial’s footage is a parody of the song’s music video, so try comparing the two.

Machida Instructor Story | Episode 2: "Trainee Kanata’s Feelings" | 2026 Boat Race Commercial | From Zero to Pro (32-second version)

The 2026 boat racing commercials portray trainees aspiring to become boat racers and their instructors.

In Episode 1, Keita Machida, First Summer Uika, and Katsuhisa Namase appear as instructors, resolutely vowing to turn all the trainees into fine professionals.

Episode 2 shows trainee Kanata Hosoda declaring his determination: “I came here to become the prize-money king.” Seira Anzai also murmurs, “I won’t lose to anyone,” and together Episodes 1 and 2 depict the genuine commitment of both instructors and trainees.

Underscoring this passionate story is BLUE ENCOUNT’s “Genjitsu (Phantom Sun),” a mid-tempo rock ballad with striking lyrics that encourage you to live boldly as you truly want.

DiamondBUMP OF CHICKEN

I always think the phrase that plays at the start of Sapporo Beer’s commercials—”Make toasts even more delicious”—is just perfect.

Sapporo Beer also made a special commercial to support the Hakone Ekiden, which celebrated its 100th race in 2024, and I bet many of you have already seen it.

The BUMP OF CHICKEN song “Diamond” used in the ad matches so well it feels like it was made just for the commercial—it’s fiery, sweaty, intense, and it really makes you think, “I’ve got to work harder!!” Amazingly, this song was BUMP OF CHICKEN’s major-label debut! It’s a powerful track you definitely won’t regret listening to.

RIDE TOUGH!THE BAWDIES

This “Endless Tough” commercial showcases the appeal of the Taft, a kei car with an active look.

Scenes of it powering through off-road terrain and parked beside a campsite really convey the vehicle’s concept.

The BGM features THE BAWDIES’ “RIDE TOUGH!”, written specifically for this ad.

Its rock ’n’ roll-infused sound and sense of speed in the melody leave a striking, stylish impression.
