Walk this wayAerosmith

This is the song that was used in a SoftBank commercial.
It’s one of Aerosmith’s signature mid-period tracks and also gained attention through their collaboration with the hip-hop group Run-DMC.
In Japan, I believe it’s also known as the theme song for the TV show “Odoru Sanma Goten.”
Learn To FlyFoo Fighters

This is the song that was used in a Noevir Cosmetics commercial in 2000.
It’s a track included on the Foo Fighters’ third album, released in 1999.
Another Foo Fighters song, “Monkey Wrench,” was also used in a Kirin Beer commercial.
I Was Made For Lovin’ YouKISS

This is the song that was used in the commercial for Canon’s EOS Kiss digital SLR camera.
Released in 1979, it’s one of KISS’s signature tracks.
In the commercial, four children wore KISS makeup and sang a parody version of the song.
Walking the UniverseSpecialThanks

SpecialThanks’ ‘Walking the Universe’ was released in 2023 and is a song with a gentle rhythm that conveys a sense of relaxation.
Its intense band sound is striking, and the way the tempo and atmosphere shift in the middle evokes the changes in feelings we experience in daily life.
Even on days when things don’t go well, the song conveys hope through its positive message that things will work out in the end.
The track is used in a commercial for Gorgeous, a matching app that prioritizes the quality of encounters.
Because it aligns with such a powerful song, it naturally evokes a forward-looking attitude.

TalentSabasusutā

This is a commercial depicting a test-taker heading into an exam with an in Jelly.
On exam day, the protagonist—a young woman—experiences extreme nerves: she can’t eat breakfast, her hands are shaking, and she can’t settle down.
But just before the test, she takes a sip of in Jelly and is able to reset her mindset: “I’ll trust what I’ve done so far and give it my all!” It conveys that in Jelly is perfect not only for the day of the exam but also for replenishing energy while studying.
The BGM features the rock band Sabishisuta’s song “Sainō” (“Talent”).
Its lyrics—You’ve built up so much, you have talent, so believe in yourself and move forward!—offer powerful encouragement that will surely be a source of support for many.
Alone and the Hallway WindowSabasusutā

The commercial starts with Fumiya Takahashi asking, “What’s wrong?” to Ami Toma, who looks a bit down.
When Toma confides, “I can’t express my feelings…,” Takahashi encourages her with, “They’ll reach them for sure!” while offering her a rich chocolate brownie.
After eating the rich chocolate brownie, Toma makes up her mind and says, “Um!” as she tries to convey her feelings to Takahashi.
The CM, overflowing with youthful emotion and sure to make your heart race just by watching, features Sabasister’s ‘Hitoribocchi to Rōka no Mado’ as its background music.
The lyrics, which depict the inner struggle of wanting to tell someone important how you feel, will give you the courage to take a step forward when you read them.
me me sheRADWIMPS

This is the song used in Universal Music’s “#Let’s Listen to Playlists” campaign commercial, where Ren Nagase and Nanoka Hara recreate the world of Heisei-era love songs.
It’s a calm ballad by RADWIMPS, and its gentle, conversational structure conveys a serene atmosphere.
The lyrics seem to express the regret that follows a love that has ended, depicting a poignant sadness with words that suggest lingering affection smoldering in the heart.
It’s a song that strongly conveys feelings of lingering attachment—being unable to dislike someone even after parting, and feeling your affection only grow larger.
