Simple Origami You Can Fold from a Single Sheet (111–120)
boots

Let’s make a Santa boot for Santa to put presents in! It’s very simple to make, so give it a try.
All you need is one sheet of origami paper in your favorite color.
First, fold it in half to make a rectangle, then open it.
Next, fold the top and bottom edges toward the center crease and open them to make fold lines.
Flip it over and make a small fold along one edge—this will become the white fluffy cuff at the top of the boot.
Flip it back, fold the left and right sides toward the center crease you made earlier, then fold the bottom up.
Fold it again, and fold up the lower section to form the front of the boot.
Finally, adjust the shape and you’re done! Feel free to decorate it however you like.
Poinsettia Star

Are you familiar with poinsettias, the flowers that show beautiful colors in December? They’re a classic winter plant that brightens up the Christmas season.
How about making a Poinsettia Star, which combines a poinsettia with a star? You can make it with a single sheet of origami paper, yet the finished piece looks incredibly delicate—so lovely that you wouldn’t believe it was made from just one sheet.
Be sure to follow along with the video and give it a try.
If you thread a string through the finished piece, it makes a wonderful ornament to hang on your tree!
Magic Cube

We’ll show you how to make a simple magic cube using just a single sheet of origami paper.
Although it’s made from origami, this magic cube is a super fun, playable model that changes into various shapes depending on how you hold and handle it.
It may look difficult when you see the finished piece, but the process is actually very simple.
First, fold into triangles and squares to make crease lines, then keep folding along the creases you’ve made.
The key is to create lots of creases, so be sure to press them firmly.
Finally, shape it into a box-like form and you’re done.
Give it a try and have fun playing with it!
Mickey Mouse

Mickey is a character who’s extremely popular with kids.
This origami Mickey is made by cutting a single sheet of origami paper into four equal pieces.
After gluing the white part of the face to the black base, fold the top triangular section forward to enhance the Mickey look—it’s a key point.
Fold the ears while rounding the corners, and adjust the overall shape at the end while considering the balance of the face.
Draw the facial features using colored pens or round stickers, and your cute Mickey is complete.
The steps are simple, so be sure to try making it with your child.
Front-paw hook cat

A cat’s front paws play many important roles, don’t they? The cat you fold with this origami has its front paws as a charming feature.
The key steps are to open it into a diamond shape, make slits and cut to form the cat’s pointed ears.
When making the face and body separately, fold the corners of the face to round them and neaten the shape.
After gluing on the cat’s paws and finishing the assembly, draw the expression with a felt-tip pen to create your own cute, original cat.
It’s also fun to try making it with origami paper in various colors.
