Making crisp crease lines is key, so be sure to press your folds firmly as you go.

It’s cute enough with single-color origami paper, but if you use double-sided paper, a peek of the inner color will show and make it even cuter! The opening is narrow, but the inside is spacious, so you might find yourself wondering what to put in it.

Fill it with your favorite little items and enjoy using it with care!

Crackers are known for their distinctive pop sound, aren’t they? These paper crackers do make a sound, but it’s gentle, so kids can safely enjoy making them with origami.

Fold the origami into a triangle and press the creases firmly; this helps the shape hold and increases durability when you open the cracker.

When you play with the finished cracker, keep the triangular part intact, hold the center, and snap the paper open quickly—that’s the trick.

Try decorating with washi tape and other touches to create your own original crackers and have fun!
