Sunstar commercials. A collection of commercials for oral care products.

Speaking of Sunstar, it’s known as a manufacturer that handles not only oral care products like GUM and Ora2, but also health foods and skincare items.

Among these, the ones we often see on TV commercials are, of course, toothpaste-related products.

In GUM commercials, foreign models appear and clearly highlight the product’s benefits, while Ora2 commercials are memorable for their catchy and approachable style.

In this article, we’ll introduce a whole lineup of Sunstar commercials.

We’ve also picked out the commercials featuring Mei Nagano, so fans won’t want to miss them!

Sunstar GUM Haguki Lab “Gum Health” Version

Gum Haguki Lab – Gum Health Version (15 seconds)

In the GUM Haguki Lab commercial “Gum Health,” it opens with scenes of the women appearing in it confessing their concerns about their gums.

Then the narration introduces GUM Haguki Lab as a way to prevent periodontal disease.

The tagline, “You can protect gum health,” is truly reassuring, isn’t it?

Sunstar “G・U・M Plus: A New Era of G・U・M”

GUM Plus: New Era of G.U.M - 30-second version

Sunstar’s “GUM Plus: A New Era of G·U·M” conveys that the familiar oral care brand G·U·M has powered up.

The commercial opens with an impactful narration stating that there’s a mastermind behind the periodontal bacteria that cause gum disease.

The opening bacteria visuals grab viewers’ attention, and the subsequent scenes featuring a doctor leave a strong impression.

After watching, you’ll want to try this new-era G·U·M, which, with G·U·M’s first-ever germicidal approach, kills even the mastermind bacteria and suppresses their proliferation!

Sunstar GUM Plus Dental Rinse “Fight” version / “Bad breath is also caused by periodontal bacteria” version

The GUM Plus Dental Rinse commercials, “Argument” and “Bad Breath Is Also Caused by Periodontal Bacteria,” introduce the benefits of the dental rinse.

In particular, the “Argument” spot depicts a mother and daughter talking about their day while swishing the rinse in their mouths.

They speak with the rinse still in their mouths—“mm-hmm, mm-mmm”—so you’d think you couldn’t understand a word, yet they seem to understand each other perfectly and the conversation carries on.

It’s the kind of scenario that makes you want to crack a joke, but watching the close-knit pair warms your heart.
