It’s really funny how the god played by Hitoshi Matsumoto can’t keep up with her pushy energy and his enthusiasm gradually drops.

The role can be a bit overbearing, but her cute smile and completely guileless remarks evoke today’s young women, drawing even more laughs from viewers.

It’s a commercial that makes you think, “Even Matsumoto can’t win against a girl this young…”

The next collaboration features Asuka Saito from Nogizaka46! Townwork’s new commercial ‘Snow Country’ starring Hitoshi Matsumoto and Taishi Nakagawa

The Townwork commercial “Snow Country,” which began airing in January 2017.

In it, Asuka Saito of Nogizaka46 plays a girl who fails to confess her feelings to a boy played by Taishi Nakagawa, when Hitoshi Matsumoto appears and delivers his familiar line as if giving love advice.

Watch how the heart-fluttering scene featuring the refreshingly pure Saito and Nakagawa takes a surreal turn with Matsumoto’s entrance.

The music is “Mahō no Yō ni” by SHISHAMO, a three-piece rock band popular especially among teenagers.

It’s packed with intriguing details that make you think, “Where’s the full version?” The final scene, where Shingo Katori’s shift leader walks away with everyone, even gives it a bit of a road-movie vibe.

Tatsuya Fujiwara transforms into a dandy with a handlebar mustache in Townwork’s new commercial, “Who’s on Townwork? ‘BARBER’ Edition.”

This is the Townwork job listing commercial titled “Townwork—Who Could It Be? BARBER.” To the familiar Townwork melody, the lyrics go, “Townwork, who could it be?” A person wearing a mysterious square box with the Townwork logo gets a barber’s shave—with whipped-cream-like foam applied over the box—and a blow-dry on top of it.

Naturally, you’re dying to know who’s inside.

Then comes the long-awaited moment: the box comes off, and there he is—Tatsuya Fujiwara, sporting a perfectly curled handlebar mustache! That’s the twist of the commercial.
