SecretCrystalyne

This is a breezy number by the pop-rock band Crystalyne, active since 2011.

Both the sound and arrangement deliver a light rock finish that goes down easy.

This colorful pop sound is a must-listen.

I Love TurbulenceRolo Tomassi

A hardcore band characterized by odd time signatures and airy, floating riffs—arguably with a post-rock sensibility.

The ethereal space crafted by the transparent vocals and synths is exceptionally well done.

Perhaps the fact that the members are siblings also contributes to their groove.

Hungry WolvesAll Heads Rise

Hungry WolvesAll Heads Rise

A hardcore band with deep, growl-like low-end vocals that you wouldn’t think are coming from a female singer.

While there’s a traditional vibe in elements like the breakdowns, they craft a uniquely rhythmic and heavy sound at key moments.

We Are The FoolsCALL FOR BLOOD

CALL FOR BLOOD “We Are The Fools” OFFICIAL VIDEO
We Are The FoolsCALL FOR BLOOD

A track by a female-fronted band that stands out even within hardcore’s brutal metal.

She fully commands the distinctive brutal growl, making her a highly unconventional vocalist for a woman.

The sense of tempo and groove are perfectly matched, and the song’s development never gets dull.

RuinCat Power

Cat Power – Ruin (Official Audio)
RuinCat Power

Cat Power, a singer-songwriter who exuded considerable charisma with her husky vocal style and sleek, striking looks.

Her appeal isn’t just in her appearance—her musicality is exceptional as well.

Her guitar-driven rock sound, which hints at ’90s garage influences, is crafted to a level that even rock band aficionados will admire.

King Of The KerbEchobelly

Among the bands that shone during the Britpop boom of the 1990s, Echobelly stood out with a singular brilliance.

That brilliance was embodied by their vocalist, Sonya Aurora Madan.

Her exotically striking Indian roots and her provocatively outspoken comments—seemingly at odds with that image—sparked both strong support and backlash.
