Handmade Accessories (1–10)
dollhouse

Let’s make a dollhouse that you can open and play with in a flash and tidy up just as quickly, using materials from the dollar store! Prepare a box with an attached lid, and stick fabric, remake sheets (decorative adhesive sheets), and window parts made from papercraft onto the inside walls.
Then just add the small items you usually use for doll play, like a table and chairs, and your handmade dollhouse is complete! When it’s time to clean up, simply put everything back into the box.
If you use a box with a handle, you can carry it around easily, too.
Kumihimo friendship bracelet

Kumihimo, as the name suggests, is a cord made by braiding together thin threads.
It may seem intricate and difficult, but if you hook threads onto a simple loom made from a round piece of cardboard with eight notches cut into it and keep braiding, you’ll find it’s surprisingly easy to make! If you’re turning it into a friendship bracelet, it’s recommended to use a knot that allows you to adjust the length when making it into a bracelet shape.
Once you learn the braiding method, you can apply it to all kinds of items, so definitely give it a try!
Doll making

How about making a doll of your favorite character using a 100-yen shop doll set? These sets are popular because they include a poseable torso and head, letting you create a doll to your liking.
First, freely paint the face with acrylic paints.
For hair and accessories, it’s easy to attach resin clay, so I recommend it.
For example, if you want to make an energetic elementary school student, crafting small items like a recorder and a randoseru (school backpack) out of clay will look cute.
Clothes will look more realistic if you sew them from fabric, but clay works just fine too.
Have fun adding your own original touches!
No-Sew Felt Hamburger

A felt hamburger you can make just by cutting and sticking is perfect for crafts with kids! The fluffy buns are recreated with a puzzle mat and stuffing.
Cut the puzzle mat into a circle, pile plenty of stuffing on top, wrap it with felt, and you’re done.
You can secure the felt with double-sided tape or glue, but if you want a sturdier hold, sewing is recommended.
Flat toppings like tomato, lettuce, and egg are fine with just tape or glue.
Even picky eaters might start to think, “Maybe I’ll try it,” while making their least favorite veggies out of felt.
Beaded accessories

Accessory beads that softly reflect the light are perfect for the summer season when you wear short sleeves.
String the beads firmly with fishing line so there are no gaps, and attach a colored elastic at the end so it fits snugly around the wrist.
Be mindful of how you arrange the beads to give the accessory presence—such as surrounding larger beads with smaller ones, or creating patterns that look like rows of flowers.
One of the biggest charms is how you can express originality through bead arrangement and color choices in your design.
Magnet cake

How about making a cute magnet cake using a plastic bottle cap? First, attach a round magnet to the inside of the cap with glue or cellophane tape.
Next, stick double-sided tape around the side of the cap, then attach a thin strip of felt and a ribbon.
After that, mix shaving foam, wood glue, and paint, and brush the mixture onto the top of the cap.
Once the surface looks like fluffy cream, add small decorations, and your adorable magnet cake is complete!

Pipe cleaners keep beads from slipping, so they’re easy for kids to handle! Threading beads onto the wire helps kids focus and improves fine motor skills 😊 I tried different ways to finish the ends, and the method in the video is the simplest and cleanest! The tightly coiled pipe cleaner looks like a pom‑pom—so cute, right? 😆💕 You can enjoy arranging bead patterns and adjusting the length ✨ I used 30 cm pipe cleaners. Beads around 8 mm to 1 cm are easy for kids to handle! Pipe cleaners also fit through 6 mm beads, so choose what you like 🙌 Pipe cleaners will basically fit through anything except ultra‑tiny beads! ☆*:.。.┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈.。.:*☆ Thanks so much for watching 😆 I’m a mom of a 4‑ and 7‑year‑old who love making and playing (Toy Consultant & Picture Book Instructor). Thread beads onto pipe cleaners to make all kinds of little accessories.
First curl one end of the pipe cleaner, then thread on a bead.
Insert the curled tip into the bead’s hole, pull the other side to lock it in place, and after that just add your favorite beads and form a loop.
Make it larger for a bracelet, or use flower-shaped beads to create a flower crown for a doll.
You can also use them for cable ties, tiny bottle decorations, and many other situations.
Because you’re using pipe cleaners, the beads don’t slip off easily after threading, making this an easy activity for toddlers and lower-grade elementary school children.
