Am I the only one who wants to eat Chinese food when I hear this song? The piece used in the Cook Do Twice-Cooked Pork “Night Breeze” commercial is The Liberty Bell.
It was composed by John Philip Sousa, the American composer known as the “March King.” If you’ve played in a concert band, it might sound very familiar.
With its quintessential marching band feel, it kind of makes you want to start walking, doesn’t it? I guess the reason it makes me crave Chinese food is because this song is used so often in the Cook Do commercial series.

In the 2017 commercial featuring Haruna Kawaguchi for Knorr Soup DELI, the song used in the “Pandelicious” segment was an original duet created specifically for the ad.
The catchy, familiar-sounding tune really sticks with you! It was a collaboration between creator Etsuko Yakushimaru—known for her wide-ranging work including the band Sotaisei Riron—and musician Shuta Hasunuma.
Their gentle vocals float over a cheerful, picnic-inspiring melody, creating a cozy, heartwarming vibe.
It’s the kind of song you’d want to play while sharing something delicious and enjoying it together.

Here’s a commercial song by composer Tomoyuki Asakawa—also known for his work on the anime Jungle Emperor—used in the Hondashi “50th Anniversary: Delicious Today, Too” spot.
Its warm, expansive tone perfectly suits the retrospective concept featuring generations of CM performers.
The gently soothing sound leaves you with a warm feeling in your chest.

The track was featured in Ajinomoto Co., Inc.’s corporate ad “Carrying the Hope of Health into the Future,” and was created by Akiko Higashikawa, who also performs as a member of the musical duo Akai Kutsu.
As the song builds, you can feel a growing positivity and strength of will.
And thanks to the accompanying commercial visuals, the song’s persuasiveness is greatly enhanced.

Onigiri Maru’s Nigiri SongKawashima Kanou

With this song, you can make delicious rice balls! This is “Onigiri-maru no Nigiri Uta,” composed by Kano Kawashima.
There’s a frozen food called “Onigiri-maru” that becomes onigiri filling as soon as you take it out of the pack, and this is the commercial jingle that shows you how to use it.
With its nursery rhyme style and a very simple onigiri-making method, it’s perfect for young children.
If you want to enjoy cooking with your kids, this song might help.
It’s a commercial tune that will make your stomach growl!

A Little Love Song

In Knorr’s cup soup commercials, corn soup and potage are featured.
In the “Corn, for a delightfully happy morning—Corn” version, the expression of the boy drinking the soup is striking, and his happiness really comes through.
Meanwhile, in the “At the potage age—Potage” version, it’s funny when Yumi Kawai accidentally blurts out that she has a boyfriend and her father totally loses his cool.
The BGM uses an arranged version of one of MONGOL800’s signature songs, ‘Chiisana Koi no Uta’ (A Small Love Song).
The very gentle vocals are memorable, giving the ad a calm, soothing atmosphere.
