Biore commercials roundup: Spotlight on the star-studded casting (21–30)

Kao Biore Facial Cleansing Foam

1989 commercial Kao Biore Hikaru Nishida

Hikaru Nishida, who was active mainly as an idol singer and actress from the late ’80s to the ’90s.

This song was also used as the image song for Biore Facial Foam.

The commercial featuring Hikaru Nishida herself washing her face is wonderfully refreshing—and the sound is refreshing too! The lyrics portray a bittersweet summer romance that perfectly fits a Biore ad.

Above all, Nishida’s clarity gives you such a clean, pure feeling! The composition is by Koji Makaino, who created many songs for Biore commercials.

Kao Biore Skincare Face Wash: “Happiness Is Simple. Morning Face Wash” Edition / Biore Moisturizing Jelly: “Happiness Is Simple. Nighttime Care” EditionNana Eikura

Here’s a song by the passionate singer-songwriter Yu Takahashi.

It’s a number that matches Nana Eikura’s refreshing vibe.

Start your day by listening to your favorite song after waking up or eating your favorite food—what a nice way to begin.

And then wash your face with Biore for a fresh, clean morning.

If you listen to “Simple,” I’m sure you’ll be able to greet the day feeling refreshed!

Haru

[CM] Kao Biore Marshmallow Whip

Just hearing that Colonel Bogey is used in a Bioré commercial doesn’t really give you a clear picture of what it’s like, does it? In this Kao Bioré Marshmallow Whip ad featuring actress Haru, they use a very softly arranged version of Colonel Bogey.

By significantly lowering the BPM of that melody and having children sing it, they’ve created a very fluffy feel.

It’s a slightly unusual combination, but it ends up perfectly matching the product’s image.
