Kao Biore commercial songs: from popular tie-in tracks to original compositions (1–10)
Original songUchiyama Yusuke
Here is the commercial for Biore UV Athlizm, “Birth of a New Concept in Sun Care,” composed by Yusuke Uchiyama.
With distorted guitar over a bouncy rhythm, it feels like a high-energy rock track and the sound is seriously cool.
That makes perfect sense—it’s a sunscreen commercial, after all, so it likely conveys the blazing intensity of the sun.
The visuals also have a stylish, mature vibe, and the BGM fits this CM perfectly—absolutely outstanding!
A-class KissNishino Taeko

“A-Class Kiss” was Taeko Nishino’s debut single, and it was used as the image song for Biore Face Wash.
I’m really drawn to its very sultry atmosphere.
It feels like the kind of song you don’t hear much anymore.
In the commercial, she exuded a cute charm that was different from the song’s mood, and I imagine some people were attracted by that contrast.
I also personally love the sparkling tones in the instrumental break.
The lyrics were written by Masumi Kawamura, who also worked on Misato Watanabe’s “My Revolution.”
I canInoue Sayaka

This commercial portrays youthful scenes with Biore Sarasa Powder Sheets close at hand, cheering on people who are giving their all.
High school students devoted to their various clubs are depicted, and the many dramas they experience through their efforts are expressed in refreshing animation.
The song that further highlights the fresh atmosphere of the visuals is “I can,” written specifically for this commercial.
With a band sound accented by piano and brass, its overlap with lyrics charging straight toward youth conveys a real sense of strength.
Kao Biore commercial songs: from popular tie-in tracks to original songs (11–20)
Original songKurahashi Yoeko

This commercial introduces Biore Perfect Oil, with the key point being that you can use it in the bath, presented through a distinctive song.
Because we emphasize makeup in every aspect of daily life, it tends to be hard to remove—but the ad conveys that with Perfect Oil, it comes off easily.
While boasting high effectiveness, it’s also gentle on the skin, a quality underscored by Yoeko Kurahashi’s vocals.
The way her singing alone rings out is striking, and the simple composition makes it feel like a hummed tune in the bathroom.
Barrier SongKito Akari

This commercial lightly showcases, through animation, the effects of Biore UV Barrier Me.
It highlights that the product not only protects against UV rays but also guards against fine particles like pollen, conveying via animation that it can be used across various seasons.
Further emphasizing the light, protected feeling depicted is “Barrier no Uta,” sung by Akari Kito.
The lyrics are simple, merely introducing the product’s benefits, but the airy delivery—sprinkled with high notes—evokes a positive mood.
skinHoshino Gen

This is a track included on Gen Hoshino’s 10th single, “Family Song,” released in 2017.
It was newly written for a commercial, and it depicts hearts connecting through physical touch with someone important.
Gen Hoshino himself also appeared in the commercial.
Original song

This is the 2018 commercial for Kao’s Biore UV sunscreen, titled “The Sun and Me.” The ad features former Nogizaka46 member Nanase Nishino.
Nishino later drew attention for her striking performance in the drama “Your Turn to Kill,” but at the time of this commercial she was still a Nogizaka member, and her overwhelming cuteness really shines here.
It’s a sunscreen ad that feels like a conversation with the sun—often considered a woman’s worst enemy.
The jingle is an original song that gives off a summery vibe.
