Audi (1–10)
Star GuitarThe Chemical Brothers

It samples David Bowie’s 1972 track “Starman.”
Mercedes-Benz (1–10)
Blinding LightsThe Weeknd

Blinding Lights is a song that consciously draws heavily on 80s disco music.
It was released in 2019 by The Weeknd, an R&B singer from Canada.
From the moment the catchy synthesizer melody—one listen and it sticks in your head—kicks in, it whisks you away to a stylish, nighttime cityscape.
Its sense of speed makes it especially perfect for car commercials, almost as if you’re out driving.
The song’s similarities to a-ha’s Take On Me have also made mashups of the two tracks popular.
MasterpieceYessian
This piece was created by Yessian Music, a sound company specializing in surround mixing for original music and sound design for films, commercials, and television.
“Masterpiece” is a perfect fit for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, a model that combines style with luxury.
The lower-register electric guitar maintains a steady tempo while conveying a sense of speed.
It also carries a 1970s British rock vibe, and although it may seem simple at first glance, it blends traditional weight and gravitas—truly a Masterpiece in every sense of the word.
Original songKazumasa Hashimoto
Within the Mercedes-Benz lineup, the CLS stands out as a four-door coupe characterized by a simple design and a composed atmosphere.
Here is the commercial for the new CLS model announced in 2018! The music was specially composed for the CM by musician Kazumasa Hashimoto, who performs under the name Kazumasa Hashimoto.
The ambient, environmental-music-like vibe—where the engine and driving sounds blend seamlessly with the coastal scenery—is incredibly appealing.
Original songSeiho
A commercial for the new A-Class featuring voice actress Masako Nozawa—famous for playing Son Goku in Dragon Ball.
While Nozawa-san and the Mercedes voice assistant exchange comedic banter, a poppy EDM-style melody plays in the background.
It’s striking how a sparkling tone comes in at just the right moment when the car’s name is introduced at the end of the ad! Paired with the simple visuals, this stylish, modern melody gives the car an even cooler, more sophisticated image.
