Like a Flourishing Flower -Neo Visualizm-MIYAVI

The “Samurai Guitarist,” who’s gaining worldwide attention for his unique slap technique played with fingers instead of a pick.
In fact, his vocal expressiveness is equally outstanding—whatever he sings carries a sensual allure.
Influenced by his slap style, his singing has a powerful sense of rhythm, creating a seamless fusion that almost feels odd without a guitar in hand.
His English pronunciation is natural and world-class, and he’s the passionate type who captivates with groove.
While he has many songs in English, during his long-hair era most of his tracks were in Japanese, so if you’re thinking “I want to try singing one,” you’re sure to find a favorite.
In any case, he’s incredibly cool and stylish!

TK, known as the vocalist and guitarist of Ling tosite sigure.
“TK from Ling tosite sigure” is his solo moniker.
He possesses a one-of-a-kind high tone vocal that combines translucence with sharpness.
If you know his signature song “unravel,” you’ll understand—his range is incredibly high, yet his delivery remains deeply emotional.
He’s the only vocalist I find to have a “beautiful death growl,” handling both intense tracks and gentle ballads with unwavering control, leaving you with a feeling that your heart’s been cleansed.
He’s also highly regarded as a singing guitarist: he sings while executing intricate fast runs, odd time signatures, and complex arpeggios—something very few can imitate.
Be sure to check that out, too!
My StyleEndō Masaaki

Masaaki Endoh, a member of JAM Project and one of Japan’s leading anison singers, is known in the rock scene for his exceptionally strong vocal ability.
While his high notes often draw attention, the core factor supporting his singing isn’t his high range.
His real strength is the ability to maintain vocal power at any pitch.
Admittedly, when the vowel is “i,” he’s not singing with overtones, but aside from that he basically sings with overtone resonance, and combined with his high-level technique, he delivers impact in every part of a song.
Maximum the Hormone II ~Let’s Talk About Firm, Rich Noodles from Here On~Ryo-kun (Maximum the Hormone)

He’s the vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter of Maximum the Hormone—the core of the band who goes by the title “Vocals, 6-strings, and Younger Brother.” Ryo-kun’s standout strengths are his overwhelming vocal power and razor-sharp shouts.
Even within the loud rock scene, his sound pressure is top-tier.
His weapon is a “controlled shout” that isn’t just screaming: it has pitch, precise rhythm, and never collapses into strain.
He also switches between a variety of vocal techniques, brilliantly balancing metal-style delivery with pop melodies.
The vibe of his voice changes so much you’ll find yourself wondering, “Is this really the same person singing?” Definitely check him out!
My beloved, be prepared to die.Shinkai (Onmyo-za)

The leader of Onmyo-za, a band known as a “yokai heavy metal” act.
He’s the command center, handling bass, vocals, and writing and composing nearly all of their songs.
While Onmyo-za often performs anime songs, hearing Matatabi’s voice will surely bring the phrase “anison rock” to mind! His voice is fantastic; his greatest weapon is a powerful, deep low register that contrasts with main vocalist Kuroneko’s high tones.
Despite its depth, his voice is very easy to understand.
Matatabi is also famous for never stopping once he starts talking on stage.
With passionate MCs, a compelling delivery, and staging that makes full use of his height, he draws the audience in and builds the band’s world.
Like tonight’s moonMiyamoto Hiroji (Erefanto Kashimashi)

In the singing voice of Hiroji Miyamoto, the vocalist of The Elephant Kashimashi, I feel a straightforward, powerful honesty with no pretense at all.
Vocal ability is also expressiveness, and he is truly an artist who embodies that.
Somewhere today, someone is surely being captivated by his hard-to-explain charm.

Teenager ForeverIguchi Satoru (King Gnu)

Speaking of King Gnu, they’re a mixed-genre rock band known for the wonderful twin vocals of Daiki Tsuneta and Satoru Iguchi.
Tsuneta’s slightly husky voice is captivating, but this time I want to focus on Iguchi’s vocals, which deliver an exceptionally pleasant high tone.
He studied vocal music at Tokyo University of the Arts; while there’s certainly nothing in King Gnu’s songs that uses overtly classical vocal techniques or singing styles, I believe the experience he gained is fully utilized—most notably in the beautifully executed falsetto that’s both a hallmark and a charm of King Gnu’s music.
In addition, Iguchi’s transitions from falsetto to mixed voice to chest voice are incredibly smooth and completely seamless, showcasing his high level of technique.
Thanks to this, the contrast with Tsuneta’s husky vocals becomes even clearer, further accentuating the band’s distinctive character.
