We areTAKA(ONE OK ROCK )

ONE OK ROCK is a band that boasts top-tier prowess in today’s Japanese rock scene.
The vocalist, Taka, has garnered media attention for his singing ability, so many people are likely aware of his skills.
While he does have a weakness in that his voice is on the thinner side, his fundamental vocal technique is strong, and he has the chops to hold his own on the global stage.
In their early years, distinctly Japanese-style ad-libs stood out, but as he has collaborated with R&B artists, his repertoire of ad-libs has grown, and his vocal ability will likely continue to improve.
I’m especially looking forward to his 40s, when his voice will likely gain more depth and richness.
countrysideTamaoki Koji (Anzen Chitai)

Their vocal ability is truly one of a kind—able to control both the intensely emotional parts and the gentle, quiet passages as if they’ve mastered every vocal technique.
Their mic distance work is excellent, too.
And as you can tell from their guitar playing, the groove is phenomenal.
He’s a Japanese male artist who belongs in the hall of fame for great singers.
No matter what he sings, he brings something only Koji Tamaki can.
He’s absolutely not someone you can imitate!
P.A.R.T.Y. ~Universe Festival~ISSA(DA PUMP)

He has a good ear, a wide vocal range, and a powerful voice—he possesses all the key qualities needed as a singer at a high level.
What’s truly remarkable about ISSA is that he brings all of this out while performing intense choreography; I think his ability to maintain breath control and vocal production while dancing is outstanding.
There aren’t many people who can sing solo while moving exactly like the dancers.
Also, pay attention to his high notes!
fire after fireDēmon Kogure Kakka (Seikima II)

Demon Kakka, the vocalist of Seikima-II.
The band is known for boasting top-tier musicianship in Japan, and of course the vocals are also among the very best in the country.
When it comes to His Excellency’s appeal, it’s all about that high tone.
It’s not just that he can sing high; his sharp, soaring notes still carry solid power and presence, which is a key factor behind his vocal prowess.
The way he can make any song entirely his own also speaks to his intelligence and refined taste.
HIGH PRESSURENishikawa Takanori (T.M.Revolution)

Takanori Nishikawa, a singer who’s also active on variety shows.
It’s easy to forget because of his comedic persona, but he has top-tier vocal ability even among visual-kei singers.
His greatest weapon is, without a doubt, his opening delivery.
In terms of initial vocal impact, he’s among the best in Japan, able to produce tremendous sound pressure right from the first note, regardless of the consonant or vowel.
It may be hard to notice because many of his songs are pop, but his fundamental vocal technique is also outstanding, so I encourage you to take a fresh look at his singing prowess.
We are!kitadani hiroshi

Hiroshi Kitadani, commonly known as “Dani.” He made his major debut in 1994 with the rock unit Stagger, and in 1999 he broke into national fame as an anisong singer with “We Are!” the first opening theme for ONE PIECE.
He has also performed on stages around the world as a second-generation member of JAM Project, a group of powerhouse anisong vocalists, continually delivering overwhelming live performances.
Dani’s defining traits are his tremendous vocal power and rock energy! Especially in live settings, his stage presence, crowd work, and vocal stamina are truly top-tier among professionals, so it’s absolutely better to hear him live than on CD! I became a fan of Dani after seeing a JAM Project concert, so please check out some live videos!
dance hallŌmori Motoki (Mrs. GREEN APPLE)

A track included on Mrs.
GREEN APPLE’s mini-album “Unity,” released in July 2022.
It was made available for digital streaming ahead of the album in May of the same year.
Motoki Omori, the vocalist of Mrs.
GREEN APPLE, is known for a voice rich in highly appealing upper overtones, and that signature sound shines in this song as well.
In addition to his naturally bright, high register, he deftly switches among various high-tone techniques to deliver a superb performance that brings the song to life.
It’s a track I can confidently recommend to anyone who loves high-tone male vocals.
I also think it’s very useful as a reference piece for aspiring singers.
