Formed in 1992.
The vocalist, YUKI, is from Hakodate in Hokkaido.
At the time, she was a junior college student aiming to become a singer when she met Kaoru Onda, who would later become the band’s leader.
After listening to YUKI’s demo tape and being impressed by her voice, Onda formed JUDY AND MARY with her.
They made their major-label debut in 1993 with “POWER OF LOVE,” released numerous hit songs, and, to much regret, disbanded after a two-day concert at the Tokyo Dome in March 2001.
Even after that, they have continued to influence a wide range of artists.

Sabasister is a three-piece girls’ band formed in March 2022.
The unique world created by the trio—Nachi, Luminas, and GK—is captivating.
