Pay attention to vocalist Sachiko Aoyama—who wrote many of their lyrics—for her expansive, crystal-clear voice! They were a distinctive girls’ band that had an electric vibe and honed their unique style from early on, but they disbanded on July 20, 2019.

Since then, many of the members have been active as solo artists.

OH!SHISHAMO

As a three-piece girls’ band, SHISHAMO has earned strong support particularly among women in their teens and twenties.

Their instrumental technique is solid, featuring lightning-fast guitar shredding and high-speed twin-pedal drumming.

CRY OUTTRiDENT

Vocal and guitarist ASAKA and bassist SERINA had been active as Girls Rock Band Kakumei.

In May 2020, they changed their name and, with drummer NAGISA joining, became TRiDENT.

The powerful, high-level drumming and the band’s straightforwardness are incredibly cool.

Be sure to pay attention to ASAKA’s crisp, soaring vocals and shouts as well.

Their style, which brings inner screams to the forefront, is sure to strike a chord!
