Decorations made with crepe rolls
Here are some stylish ideas for decorating a graduation ceremony venue using crepe paper rolls.
These use crepe rolls available at 100-yen shops.
Staple the crepe rolls onto a string, planning the color scheme as you go.
Adjust both the length and width to fit the size of the wall you want to decorate.
Then simply attach the string to the wall, and you’re done.
It looks cute as is, but if you add letters on top of the hanging crepe rolls, it will look even more stylish.
It’s easy to make, so give it a try!
A dotted wall made with wall stickers

Many preschools likely set up the venue for the graduation ceremony the day before.
When you decorate the day before, unexpected issues can come up—like running out of decorations or ending up with empty-looking areas.
A great idea for this is to use wall stickers.
You can find cute stickers at 100-yen shops, and home improvement stores also sell sheets of stickers.
Use these to brighten up the space! Even just making circles and sticking them on randomly can create a polka-dot wall and add a stylish touch, so give it a try.
Spiral Ornament Made with Origami

Would you like to make a twirling decoration out of origami? Take one sheet of origami paper and fold it into an accordion, then cut it into six fence-like strips.
Stack the six strips and fold up the bottom slightly.
Fold the top down at an angle to make a crease in a triangular shape.
The lengths don’t need to be exact.
Once all six pieces are the same shape, apply glue to the triangular part and layer another strip on top.
Repeat this process to glue them all together.
After gluing the first and last strips together, twist each strip and attach it to the folded bottom section to finish! If you add thread or fishing line and hang it as a mobile, it will spin in the breeze and look adorable!
Roses made with tissue paperNEW!

So realistic! Let’s make large roses that will make your wall stand out.
First, stack 7–8 sheets of tissue paper and fold them in thirds to create creases.
Next, use those creases to accordion-fold the stack.
Remove just one sheet of tissue paper, then tie the center of the remaining accordion-folded stack with a rubber band.
Round off the corners on both ends, and cut small slits along the fold ridges on both sides.
After that, open the tissue paper sheets one by one to form the rose shape.
For the rose’s center, cut the single sheet you set aside into thirds, then roll one piece from the edge to create the center.
A mobile made with your favorite characters

Why not decorate the room with your children’s favorite characters? You can use characters from anime or games as materials, or—if characters aren’t allowed at your school—use animals or picture books they love instead! Once you’ve chosen the materials, print them out on a computer.
Also print one reversed copy so you can glue the front and back together.
Laminate the finished pieces and cut them out, then punch holes so you can attach strings.
Try decorating them like a mobile, using branches the children found in the yard or during outdoor activities.
Swaying gently in the pleasant spring breeze, they’ll look absolutely lovely.
Hot air balloon made with tissue paper
How about making a hot air balloon wall display with stylish, pastel colors? For this, cut white construction paper into balloon shapes, then place torn pieces of tissue paper on top.
Feel free to create any sizes and shapes you like! Once arranged, mist the tissue paper with water.
Kids will enjoy this step, too.
Let it dry as is, and when it’s completely dry, gently peel off the tissue paper.
The colors from the tissue paper will softly seep into the white paper, giving it a very chic finish.
After that, add a basket to complete the balloon! It would also look great with the children’s photos or portraits attached.

Here’s an idea to stylishly decorate your graduation ceremony venue: a dynamic rainbow wall made from children’s handprints.
Prepare a large sheet of poster paper or fabric, and have the children stamp their handprints in rainbow colors.
You can stamp directly, but if that’s difficult for infants, you can stamp their hands on separate construction paper, cut them out, and paste them on.
You can also customize endlessly—sing rainbow songs to match the wall, or display photos of the graduating children on the rainbow.
Give it a try for your graduation ceremony wall!
