In the silhouette quiz, who is this teacher?

Silhouette quizzes are a big hit in preschool activities! Usually, the questions are made using the shadows of familiar tools or foods, but why not try using the teachers’ silhouettes once in a while? That said, it can be hard to guess correctly from just a silhouette.
That’s where this item comes in! Attach a photo of the teacher to a piece of thick paper with a handle, then cover the photo with a strip of black construction paper so the picture can’t be seen.
Put a loop of tape at the center on the back of the construction paper to stick it on.
This way, you can peel back the construction paper from both sides to reveal parts of the face, making it easier for the children to guess.
World Flags Quiz

Many people may think that national flags are still too early for kindergarteners.
However, in an age that calls for globalization, it is not too early even for kindergarteners to learn about countries around the world.
National flags—their designs are one way to clearly convey the images of each nation’s people and art.
Let’s study them and become flag experts!
Animal Tail Quiz

Lots of kids love animals, right? I think many families keep dogs or cats because they’re said to be good for children’s emotional development.
Let’s have fun with an “Animal Tail Quiz,” using the rear views and tails of everyone’s favorite animals! The rules are simple: you look only at the tail or the animal’s backside and guess what animal it is.
Once you get the hang of it, try mixing in fish and insects too.
Kids might even be able to spot subtle differences, like between dolphins and whales! It’s also a great idea to pass the chance to answer to children who don’t raise their hands often or who are shy.
It’s perfect for small parties.
What’s inside the box?

It’s the classic game where you reach into a box and guess what’s inside.
People identify things using all five senses—touch, sight, smell, and hearing.
Surprisingly, just touching isn’t always enough.
If you put in items with unusual textures as the answers, it’s sure to get everyone excited.
Everyone’s reactions can serve as hints, too.
Guess and have fun! Drawing Quiz

This is a quiz where you partially draw pictures on transparent sheets, and when you stack them all together, players guess what the final picture is.
Draw them in order starting from the first sheet, and when you’re done, ask, “What could it be?” It’s a game that helps develop thinking skills while having fun, because you need to consider which part each illustration represents, find possible answers, and compare them.
The illustrations should be motifs that children are very familiar with.
If you’re doing it for a birthday, a present box is a great choice!
True-or-False Quiz

The popular “True or False Quiz” is also recommended as a performance/activity in nursery and kindergarten! Write simple quiz questions on construction paper or poster board and ask the children whether it’s “true or false.” For example, around Christmas or Setsubun, questions like “Is Santa Claus from Finland? True or false?” or “Do ogres dislike edamame? True or false?” can turn it into a fun lesson about the holiday.
You can also base the quiz on shared memories, such as a field trip.
Teachers can run the quiz, but it’s also great to ask the older kids in the senior class to be the quiz masters.

Hint Quiz

A hint quiz where you imagine the answer from clues! Choose things kids definitely know, give three hints, and have them guess what it represents.
Start with a broad hint and then move to more distinctive ones to make it easier to arrive at the answer.
It’s also recommended to award extra points if they answer before all three hints are given.
By gradually raising the difficulty while watching how they’re doing, they’ll get absorbed with the exciting, puzzle-solving feel of the game.
