Starry Smile StoryNEW!Kobukuro

This is a JR West commercial that presents a range of Kansai travel plans all at once.
It highlights numerous sightseeing attractions—from entertainment and gourmet food to history—and encourages travel to Kansai with the tagline, “Follow where your curiosity leads.” The BGM for the commercial features “Starry Smile Story” by Kobukuro, a duo from Osaka.
Previously performed only at live shows, the song will be released digitally in March 2026, marking the 25th anniversary of their major-label debut.
Hungry PrideNEW!Makishimamu Za Horumon

This commercial powerfully conveys the bold flavor of Nissin Yakisoba U.F.O.
and the message that it fuels your energy.
It depicts that restless, frustrated feeling at night, and expresses how eating it in such moments becomes the drive to overcome challenges.
The song that further highlights the determined, confrontational mood shown in the visuals is Maximum the Hormone’s “Hungry Pride.” Its aggressive band sound is a major draw, and the arrangement—building in thickness step by step—delivers a strong sense of power.
Ghost in the FlowersNEW!Yorushika

Yorushika’s “Hana ni Bourei” (Ghost in a Flower) was released in 2020.
Set against summer scenery, it’s a bittersweet song that looks back on memories on the verge of fading.
The piano tone within the band sound is striking, and sections where only the piano resonates heighten the sense of poignancy.
With lyrics like a monologue and sound that seems to express emotional fluctuations, it speaks directly to the heart.
It was also used in the UNIVERSAL MUSIC JAPAN “#Spring Song Best 50” commercial featuring Ren Nagase and Soya Kurokawa, highlighting the emotional currents of youth.

Until we meet againNEW!Ozaki Kiyohiko

This is a Yamaha “Youthful Pops” commercial that highlights its perfectly balanced positioning with the tagline “More than karaoke, not quite a lesson.” It shows women in their 60s, who have finished raising their children and reached a new stage in life, singing and dancing with joy.
It’s striking that they describe it not as just another cultural class, but as “my place.” In the commercial, they sing Kiyohiko Ozaki’s “Mata Au Hi Made” (“Until the Day We Meet Again”), which portrays the final moments of a couple who decide to break up and end their cohabitation.
While the lyrics depict a heartrending scene, the song is characterized by a bright, catchy melody—a track that invites listeners to imagine the two people’s emotions.
If someone like me is okay with youNEW!Kuwata Keisuke

In the “Not Just on Rainy Days” segment, it emphasizes that on sunny days it’s not rain but UV rays that are pouring down, and introduces a wide range of UNIQLO UV-protection items.
In addition to parasols, hats, and sunglasses, several UV-cut garments are highlighted.
The video’s vivid, colorful palette is striking and naturally draws the eye.
The background music is “Konna Boku de Yokattara,” whose lyrics gently comfort a heartbroken woman against scenes of a post-rain landscape.
It was included as the B-side to Keisuke Kuwata’s 2007 single “Ashita Hareru Kana.”
Love Me TenderNEW!JUJU

This commercial portrays various people enjoying their travels and conveys Hankyu Travel International’s commitment to supporting those journeys.
The key point is the smiles of the travelers, and it also expresses a stance of being attentive to the many feelings associated with travel.
Further enhancing the joyful atmosphere depicted in the footage is JUJU’s rendition of “Love Me Tender.” The gentle sound with its soothing rhythm and the tender, conversational singing voice evoke a sense of relaxation.
Twist & ShoutNEW!The Beatles

This is a commercial that confidently showcases the distinctive taste of Kirin Ichiban Shibori White Beer.
The catchphrase “Another delicious beer” is used to highlight that it offers a different kind of deliciousness from typical beers.
The background music features a cover of “Twist & Shout.” While the version performed by The Beatles in 1963 is well known, the original was by The Top Notes in 1961.
