Pocky commercial songs: A comprehensive roundup of CM tracks through the years (11–20)
Original song

This commercial portrays youthful scenes centered around Pocky, while also conveying a comedic vibe by showing how things don’t quite go as planned.
The story features a Pocky game played while hiding in the shadows, and just as the moment peaks, it’s revealed that someone nearby has been watching, leading to an abrupt interruption.
Including Satomi Ishihara’s displeased expression adds to the overall sense of humor in the sequence.
Sweet, indulgent scrutinynakigoto

This is a Pocky commercial featuring Ayana Shiramoto reading a book about the deliciousness of Pocky at an overseas library.
The song with the memorable acoustic sound used as the CM’s BGM is “Amaama Ginmi” by Nakigoto.
In the commercial, it’s arranged as an instrumental, giving it a completely different vibe from the original.
Unlike the CM version, the original track is full of energy, so be sure to give it a listen as well.
forget-me-notShibasaki Kou

Actress, singer, and an active participant in various social causes, Kou Shibasaki has many fans who love her singing voice.
The song “Wasurenagusa” (Forget-me-not) was included as the B-side to her fourth single, “Omoide Dake de wa Tsurasugiru,” released in 2003.
The track conveys feelings for someone you may never see again—an attachment that can’t be severed and lingering regrets toward that person.
It’s a song that likely brings to mind such emotions and such a person for anyone who listens.
Stick to fun! Tonight!Saitō Kazuyoshi

A song written by Kazuyoshi Saito in 2010 for a collaboration commercial between Space Shower TV and Pocky.
His co-starring appearance with actress Umika Kawashima, as well as the “Pocky Guitar” designed with the Pocky package that was used in the commercial and the promotional video, also became a hot topic.
The song features a rock-based melody characteristic of Saito, and the lyrics, sprinkled with slightly nonsensical phrases, are great fun.
It’s an overwhelming showcase of Saito’s talent—who would have thought you could create such a cool rock track with a single Pocky stick as the theme!
HELLO, IT’S MEL⇔R

“HELLO, IT’S ME” was released as L⇔R’s 6th single and was featured in a commercial starring Misa Shimizu, Riho Makise, Yuri Nakae, and Masami Imamura as the “Pocky Four Sisters.” Two years later, the film Four Sisters Story featuring the four of them was released, with “HELLO, IT’S ME” used as the theme song.
For YouCzecho No Republic

A Pocky-themed song performed by the rock band Czecho No Republic.
Released as a single in 2015, it’s a track featuring the band’s sole female member, Mai Takahashi, as the lead vocalist.
Her airy, translucent voice seems to perfectly match Pocky’s pop image, but in fact, the song was created around the theme of “a love song from a woman to a man, sung in memory of her late lover.” The slightly fairy-tale-like, dreamlike atmosphere also conveys the distinctive originality characteristic of Czecho No Republic.

Song of a Friendyuzu

As the title suggests, it’s a straightforward song that pours out feelings for friends and companions.
With a catchy melody that anyone—from kids to adults—can hum along to, it’s packed with heartwarming messages.
It’s a classic friendship anthem that reminds us that unchanging, irreplaceable friendship is a true treasure.
And the chorus work and guitars, delivered through Yuzu’s wonderfully tight-knit chemistry that embodies that very spirit, resonate in the heart no matter how many years go by.
