[Recruit Commercials] Popular and Past Commercials Summary [2026] (61–70)

Who’s on TownWork? “Debut Dance” EditionSho Hirano

[Commercial] Recruit - Townwork

This is the Townwork series commercial “Townwork—Who Could It Be? Entrance Dance” featuring Sho Hirano from King & Prince.

The aerobics-style dance and outfits evoke the 80s.

Among the members who make a lively entrance dancing, there’s the familiar member with a box over their head from the “Townwork—Who Could It Be?” series.

When the dancing members and those around them pop off the box—who appears but Sho Hirano with a perfectly posed face.

It’s a commercial that’s comical yet ends on a cool, sharp note.

Townwork ‘Suspension Bridge’ EpisodeTakuya Kimura, Mana Ashida

RECRUIT TOWNWORK commercial 'Suspension Bridge' version, 15 seconds

The Townwork commercial “Suspension Bridge” featuring Takuya Kimura and Mana Ashida in zombie makeup.

It’s a snapshot while they’re getting ready to shoot a zombie movie, with Kimura and Ashida talking about Ashida’s friend.

When Ashida says, “Once again, just my bad luck,” Kimura mishears it as “Townwork?” and from there things take a slightly odd turn.

When Ashida restates her story, this time she clearly says “Townwork,” and although Kimura calls her out on it, she stays unfazed—leaving Kimura confused by the word “Townwork.” The ad is filled with comedic banter and makes you really curious about the movie they’re filming.

IzakayaFumino Kimura

Townwork TV commercial: 'That experience is your ally.' Izakaya version, 30 seconds, KINSUN

A commercial featuring Fumino Kimura as the protagonist, working part-time at an izakaya.

At first, she’s about to scold a female staff member who seems to be goofing off instead of working, but someone who appears to be the manager stops her.

The message is that everyone has their own role—“the right person in the right place.” Fumino Kimura’s relaxed, relieved smile at the end is wonderful.

Elevator (version)Hitoshi Matsumoto

Hitoshi Matsumoto offers advice to working young people: New Townwork job listings media CM, “Elevator” version

The Townwork commercial “Elevator,” which started airing in July 2015.

In the ad, two college students talking about summer break part-time jobs get into an elevator in a certain multi-tenant building, when suddenly Hitoshi Matsumoto appears dressed as a janitor and simply declares, “If you’re going to work a part-time job, use Townwork.” It’s a commercial with such a surreal vibe that you can’t help but laugh.

“Home” ChapterHitoshi Matsumoto

Hitoshi Matsumoto in Townwork Commercial: Home Version

This 2015 Townwork commercial features the familiar Hitoshi Matsumoto.

In the scene, two women are chatting on a train platform about a mutual friend who got a boyfriend through a part-time job, when Matsumoto, playing a conductor, shouts, “If you’re going to work a part-time job, use Townwork.” The final ‘nano yo—’ adds a nice touch.

Shogi MatchHitoshi Matsumoto

Matsuchan struggles as a shogi commentator: New Townwork TV commercial, “Shogi Match” edition

This is the Townwork commercial titled “Shogi Match,” which began airing in November 2016.

Hitoshi Matsumoto of Downtown, who regularly appears in these commercials, plays the role of a commentator on a shogi program.

Standing before an oversized shogi board and dressed in a formal style—silver-rimmed glasses and a gray suit—Matsumoto gives a Townwork commentary while moving the pieces, making for a very fresh impression.

Hair SalonHitoshi Matsumoto

Hitoshi Matsumoto Appears in 'Townwork' Commercial: Hair Salon Edition

This series of commercials features Hitoshi Matsumoto as a mysterious figure who recommends part-time jobs and Townwork.

In one ad, a woman at a hair salon says to her stylist, “I’m thinking of getting a part-time job at a café,” and Matsumoto, seated next to her, suggests Townwork in a low, strangely calm voice.

Also, you can’t help but wonder: is he getting a perm? Is Matsuchan getting a perm? It’s that kind of commercial (lol).
