It’s a song that was used in an iPod commercial in 2003.

It’s by the Australian band Franz Ferdinand and is one of their signature tracks that became a global hit.

In Japan, you might recognize it as the air guitar song performed by Daichi from the comedy duo Dainoji.

Gotta GAMBA, right?LINDBERG

It was LINDBERG’s 19th single, released in 1994.

The song reached No.

1 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart and was used in a commercial for Shinken Zemi’s Junior High School Course.

Since that course is associated with entrance exams, the song also became an anthem encouraging test-takers.

LINDBERG is a very cool band, and Maki Watase’s husky vocals are especially striking.

SHINELUNA SEA

Released in 1998 as LUNA SEA’s 10th single.

It was featured in Toyota’s “Intelligent Navigation” commercial and reached No.

1 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart.

The bright tone and lyrics—quite a departure from LUNA SEA’s previous image—felt fresh, and the song was composed by J, the band’s bassist.

AHEAD OF THE LIGHTMIYAVI

This is the song that was used in the Nissan X-Trail commercial.

It’s a 2013 work by MIYAVI, renowned as a phenomenal guitarist.

Since the support drummer BOBO looks like Nishida from the comedy duo Warai Meshi, they even made an alternate, mistaken-version PV featuring Nishida playing the drums.

It’s a song included on MONGOL800’s second album after their indie debut, “MESSAGE,” released in 2001.

Although it has never been released as a single, its use in a commercial for Lion’s “Top” detergent led the album to become a major hit.

The song has been covered by many artists.

It was released in 1997 as SOPHIA’s fifth single.

The song was used in a TV commercial for the PlayStation game Breath of Fire III, and it was a re-cut single from the album “little circus,” released in April 1997.

With vocalist Mitsuru Matsuoka being very cool, the band has gained strong support from female fans.
