Wandering Blue BulletB’z

This is the song that was used in Otsuka Pharmaceutical’s Pocari Sweat commercial.

It’s a single by B’z released in 2008, and, as the title suggests, it’s an intense rock tune.

The commercial drew attention because Katsuyuki Mori, who left SMAP and later became a motorcycle racer, appeared in it.

Don’t avert your eyes.DEEN

It was released in 1994 as DEEN’s fifth single.

The song became the group’s first number one on the Oricon chart and sold over a million copies.

It was used in a commercial for Otsuka Pharmaceutical’s Pocari Sweat, and since the lyrics were written by ZARD’s Izumi Sakai, ZARD later did a self-cover arranged as a ballad.

gloriousGLAY

Released in 1996 as GLAY’s eighth single.

With this song, GLAY made their first entry into the Oricon Top 10 for a single.

The lyrics are filled with scenes from Hakodate, where they spent their childhood and teenage years.

It was used as a commercial song for “Victoria.”

Just OneHoobastank

This is the song that was used in Asahi Beer’s Super Dry commercial.

The ad featured major MLB stars like Hideki Matsui and Daisuke Matsuzaka.

It’s a 2003 track by the American band Hoobastank.

By the way, Hoobastank’s vocalist looks strikingly similar to Deco, the former Portuguese national soccer player.

I’ll write a letter.JUDY AND MARY

Released in 1998 as JUDY AND MARY’s 17th single.

It was used as the TV commercial song for NTT DoCoMo PHS and became the second single cut from the album “POP LIFE,” following “Irotoridori no Sekai.” After releasing this song, the band went on a one-year hiatus.

It’s a cute, girlish track.
