There is a jellyfish called the immortal jellyfish, Turritopsis dohrnii.

Immortality has been studied since ancient times.

You might think it exists only in fiction, but in fact there is an immortal creature in the real world: the Turritopsis, a jellyfish that also lives in Japan.

Typically, jellyfish have a lifespan of about one year.

However, Turritopsis repeatedly rejuvenates itself and can live indefinitely.
