This is a commercial introducing a special KitKat sold in department stores, featuring Jiyoung, a former member of KARA.

It’s characterized by a more luxurious, refined flavor, and the commercial itself is crafted with a premium, high-end atmosphere.

The BGM is “8 Minutes Ago, We” by Ryota Fujimaki, the vocalist of Remioromen.

It’s a warm ballad that expresses straightforward feelings for someone important; if you listen while reading the lyrics, it’s a song that will surely conjure up all kinds of stories.

This commercial features Raul and Shota Watanabe from Snow Man, where they try to guess what’s new about the teriyaki sauce.

After taking a bite, Raul says, “I got it!” When Watanabe follows with, “Tell me!” Raul teases, “It’s a secret.” The scene then switches to reveal that four hidden flavors have been added.

Even though it’s a classic product, you can tell it keeps getting more delicious as it’s updated like this! The background music is Snow Man’s 2022 track “From Today,” a bright, refreshing song with a catchy rhythm that really lifts your spirits.

This spot, in which Riho Yoshioka and Rihito Itagaki deliver a stunning dance performance, is the “Umbrella Dance” installment of the series of commercials titled “Are You Wearing Clothes You Can Meet In?” As the title suggests, dancers holding umbrellas perform in the background behind the two.

The BGM features an original song for the commercial sung by Kaori Mochida, whose lyrics, while glamorous, clearly convey the ad’s key selling points.

This is a commercial depicting a warm conversation between Sara Minami and Rie Miyazawa, a mother and daughter connected through Pocky.

Noticing that her daughter, who has experienced transferring schools, is struggling, the mother uses Pocky as a conversation starter to gently draw out her worries—beautifully expressing the kindness of family.

Just as the mother and daughter’s conversation heats up, Koji Okura, the father, comes home; his unknowing expression further highlights the fun atmosphere.

The song that underscores the warmth expressed in the visuals is B’z’s “Majestic.” Within the group’s signature power, you can also sense a calm air, from which a forward-looking strength comes through.

This time, it uses a parody version of the 1965 soul classic “I Can’t Turn You Loose” to highlight the great deals on ZOZOTOWN.

The arrangement is more up-tempo than Otis Redding’s original, making it a commercial that puts you in a fun mood while you watch.
