It shows people living by the sea and in nature, and how their daily routines are supported by the Move Canbus, conveying a sense of safety, trust, and easygoing drivability.

The song that underscores the gentle mood of the visuals is Taeko Onuki’s rendition of “The Water Is Wide.” It’s a cover that clearly pays homage to Karla Bonoff’s original, and the tender vocals layered with the sound of acoustic guitar convey a warm feeling.

This is a commercial that conveys the refreshing feel of Green Label through a cheerful, lighthearted drama that also carries a sense of gentleness.

After a baseball game, three men are enjoying Green Label when they spot a woman at the bus stop across the street.

Each of them tries to catch her attention using a baseball pitching stance.

Her reaction isn’t what they expected, and their bewilderment adds a comedic touch.

The relaxed mood and comedic vibe are further highlighted by Doris Day’s “Que Sera, Sera.” Because the phrase means “whatever will be, will be,” it pairs with the gentle sound to clearly communicate a calm, laid-back atmosphere.

1994 Subaru Vivio Cm Japan

This is a 1994 commercial for Subaru’s kei car, the VIVIO.

The purple body color—something you’d hardly believe was a factory option and unimaginable today—is super cute and catchy, isn’t it? The VIVIO has a sporty image and enjoys lasting popularity among car enthusiasts, but this ad highlights its compact size, nimble handling, and generous cargo capacity.

For the background music, they again used a song by CHAGE and ASKA, as in past VIVIO commercials.

It’s a track carrying a message to children, with a near–a cappella arrangement that’s both beautiful and powerful.

This commercial portrays the importance of believing in yourself, inspired by Serena Williams’s presence on the court, and also reflects AXA’s commitment to supporting that journey.

It tells us that in order to perform in environments that provoke anxiety, believing in yourself is paramount, and that very resolve is what leads to the future.

The powerful atmosphere that stirs the heart is further amplified by the song “I Can” by Nas.

It’s a unique track that layers lyrics over the classical masterpiece “Für Elise,” and its pronounced beat adds a sense of strength.

Around 1993 commercial: Subaru VIVIO

This is a commercial for the VIVIO, which was sold in the 1990s and still enjoys strong popularity among some car enthusiasts.

While three-cylinder engines are common for kei cars, this model features a four-cylinder engine, as highlighted in the ad.

Despite that uncommon specification, the commercial emphasizes everyday practicality by showing a woman using the VIVIO for shopping, showcasing its nimbleness and convenience for daily use.

To underscore that approachable feel, the ad uses CHAGE and ASKA’s “No no darlin’.” The song’s moody, sweet vocals and accompaniment, along with lyrics that express affection for a loved one, leave a strong impression—it’s a track you can’t help but become absorbed in.

The closing line, “I love it because it’s gentle,” also underscores the Leone’s sense of security.

The song used to enhance the ad’s refreshing atmosphere is Iwasaki’s “Joyu” (“Actress”).

Its sound is striking for blending calmness with a light touch, and the percussion timbres add a sense of passion.

The lyrics, which portray the life of an actress, evoke an image of strength.
