This is a playlist of songs used in bank commercials.
Most of the tracks were featured from the 2000s onward, so many of you might find yourselves thinking, “Oh yeah, I remember that commercial!” when you listen.
It includes songs that were used in regional bank ads, as well as tracks created exclusively for commercials that were never officially released.

Bank CM songs: Popular commercial songs (1–10)
Love will winKAN

Released in 1990 as KAN’s eighth single, the song gained popularity after being featured as an insert track on Fuji TV’s “Yamada Katsutenai Television,” becoming a long-selling hit.
It sold two million copies and won the 33rd Japan Record Award in 1991.
In 2009, it was used in a commercial for Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ Bank’s card loan.
It’s one of KAN’s signature songs and a timeless classic beloved by people of all ages.
Shadows of Youthchūrippu

It was released in 1974 as Tulip’s sixth single.
The lyrics, composition, and vocals were handled by Kazuo Zaitsu, and the words can be interpreted either as a song of parting or a song of beginnings.
In 2002, it was used as the theme for Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation’s “SME Business Select Loan” commercial.
It also served as an insert song for the hit drama “Under One Roof” starring Yosuke Eguchi, and is a moving number often heard in various commercials.
Tokyo VICTORYSazan Ōrusutāzu

It was released in 2014 as Southern All Stars’ 55th single.
The song was written and composed by Keisuke Kuwata and was used in a Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation commercial featuring Kuwata himself.
With uplifting lyrics and an up-tempo melody, the lyrics were created with the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in mind.

HinataSUPER BEAVER

A song included on SUPER BEAVER’s fifth mini-album “Mannaka no Koto,” released in 2017.
It was used as the theme song for the drama “But I Still Want to Get Married! ~The Misguided Matchmaking Diary of a BL Manga Artist~” and as the theme for Iwate Bank’s commercial ‘Debut’ version.
With its uplifting lyrics, it leaves a strong impression.
It’s a highly recommended “self-gifted pep song” for when you’re feeling a bit down or stuck in worry.
A victorious smile with youUkasukaji

Ukasukazy is a duo consisting of Mr.Children’s vocalist Kazutoshi Sakurai and GAKU-MC from the hip-hop unit EAST END.
This song was released in 2014 as the lead single from their first album, AMIGO.
It was selected as an official Japan Football Association support song for the Japan national soccer team and used in Mizuho Bank’s “ONE MIZUHO Power of Blue” commercial.
As it served as a cheer song for the national team, it’s a powerful, uplifting track that’s also recommended as an encouraging tune for anyone feeling down.
doerZa Kuromaniyonzu

This song, included on The Cro-Magnons’ ninth album “JUNGLE 9,” was released in 2015.
The lyrics and music were written by Masatoshi Mashima, and it was used as the CM song for JA Bank’s “JA Direct Sales” commercial.
Though very simple and short, it’s a quintessential Cro-Magnons number with straightforward, punchy lyrics that make anyone want to start singing.
The Last Dance of HappinessKuwata Keisuke

A song included on Keisuke Kuwata’s third best-of album, “I LOVE YOU -now & forever-,” released in 2012.
It was used as the theme for a Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation commercial in which Kuwata himself appeared.
Kuwata has said that he wrote the song out of joy when he learned that the daughter of an acquaintance was getting married, which put him in a mood to pray for the couple’s new journey together.
It’s also a quintessential Kuwata-style wedding song that celebrates a bright future.
