Bank commercial theme song. Popular commercial song.

This is a playlist of songs used in bank commercials.

Most of the tracks were featured from the 2000s onward, so many of you might find yourselves thinking, “Oh yeah, I remember that commercial!” when you listen.

It includes songs that were used in regional bank ads, as well as tracks created exclusively for commercials that were never officially released.

We all have those commercial jingles that stick in our heads.

From nostalgic picks to the latest CM songs, I’ve gathered a wide selection—give them a listen!

Bank CM songs: Popular commercial songs (1–10)

Listen to the musicElefanto Kashimashi

Elephant Kashimashi sings with fiery male passion and has many fans among both men and women.

Hiroji Miyamoto’s vocals truly resonate with the heart, don’t they? This song, Listen to the Music, is included on the 2008 album STARTING OVER and was used as the corporate commercial song for Nishi-Nippon City Bank.

It’s another very passionate track, yet it carries a certain sense of poignancy.

I said it captures a man’s heart, but their music often moves women deeply as well—songs that really hit you and stir your emotions.

BeautifulHirai Dai

Dai Hirai / Beautiful (HIRAIDAI LIVE TOUR 2017 ~LOCALS ONLY~ at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL LIVE)
BeautifulHirai Dai

It’s a song included on Dai Hirai’s fourth mini-album, “The Light,” released in 2014.

Chosen as the theme for a Nishi-Nippon City Bank commercial, it features positive lyrics along with soothing vocals and sound.

It’s a gentle, calming track that brings a sense of peace when you listen to it.

To tomorrowHirosue Ryōko

It was released in 1999 as Ryoko Hirosue’s sixth single.

The lyrics and music were written by Mayo Okamoto, and the song was used in a Sakura Bank commercial and as the ending theme for TBS’s “Wonderful.” The lyrics were written with reference to a day when Ryoko Hirosue, then a third-year high school student, talked with her high school friends by the sea.

Buzz buzz buzzGitaa Urufu Seiji

Shocking: My grandfather was way too cool when he was young lol
Buzz buzz buzzGitaa Urufu Seiji

This commercial song for Sumishin SBI Net Bank / NEOBANK features Guitar Wolf’s Seiji rocking out on guitar while singing.

He sings it super cool—but haven’t you heard this tune somewhere…? That’s right, it’s a parody of the children’s song “Bun Bun Bun” used as the CM jingle.

It’s a very short parody, but it leaves quite an impact, doesn’t it? I bet even little kids who don’t know Guitar Wolf would instinctively react just to the melody (lol).

Midnight ExpresswayOkazaki Taiiku

Midnight ExpresswayOkazaki Taiiku

The Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation commercial featuring Okazaki Taiiku and rugby player Keita Inagaki uses Okazaki Taiiku’s rendition of “Shinya Kousoku” (Midnight Highway).

Released in 2021, this version covers a song originally put out by Flower Companyz in 2004.

It’s a track where you can hear a cry from the soul—Okazaki adds his own signature intensity on top of the heat of the original.

It portrays the feeling of having made plenty of mistakes and just kind of drifting through life now, yet still wanting to one day be able to take pride in your own life.

It’s a soul-stirring classic that stands by those lost in life.

Sonnet of the Clownsadamasashi

The Clown’s Sonnet / Masashi Sada (3333 at Budokan)
Sonnet of the Clownsadamasashi

A single released by Masashi Sada in 1980, this song was used as the theme for the film “Fly, Wings of Icarus,” in which Sada himself starred and served as music director.

It became a major hit and is regarded as one of his signature songs.

Additionally, starting in April 2008, it was featured as a Japan Post Bank (Yucho) commercial song.

Mizuho Financial Group: 'SAMURAI BLUE’s Blue Challenge – Aiming for the Pinnacle of World Soccer' (version)

Original songKabanagu

TV Commercial: “SAMURAI BLUE’s Blue Challenge — To the Pinnacle of World Soccer” [Mizuho Official]

This commercial focuses on SAMURAI BLUE, whom Mizuho also supports, portraying their determination to reach the top of the world while conveying the spirit of our support.

Accompanied by narration from Natsuki Deguchi and centered on scenes from the sport, it powerfully communicates the dynamism and the drive to push forward into the future.

Further highlighting that strength and dynamism is an original track by Kabanagu.

While creating a sense of weightless atmosphere with digital sounds, the music also conveys a sense of speed, evoking the image of charging ahead into the future.
