Thanks to VFX, the shop owner played by Danshun Tatekawa has been de-aged to how he looked 20 years ago.

Along with that, the BOSS label has also been changed to a classic version.

The role of the son is played by the idea man, Taiiku Okazaki, which makes it pretty amusing!

The boss coffee Blue Impact – Sae no Bitō – commercial “CP: Shock of the Blue Days” features Godzilla, the giant monster known not only in Japan but around the world.

The song playing in this CM is, of course, ‘Godzilla’s Theme.’ When you think of Godzilla, you think of this piece—it’s so famous that even people who’ve never seen the movies would recognize it.

The composer is Akira Ifukube, who worked on the Godzilla series as well as a wide range of film and stage music.

For the commercial, the universally known masterpiece is used with a strings arrangement that heightens the sense of tension.

The premise is that Alien Jones is conducting a survey on Earth while working on the Hokkaido Shinkansen construction.

In the latter half of the commercial, Saburō Kitajima sings a line from his own song “Onna no Hakodate,” which lends it an emotional touch.
