Catchy Commercial Jingles [July 2025] (41–50)
Enchanted LipsNEW!Janku Fujiyama

The commercial for Chao Ontake Snow Resort, a ski area once operated by JR Central, featured Junk Fujiyama’s “Miwaku no Kuchibiru” (“Enchanted Lips”).
The song is one of the tracks included on the 2013 single “Shedar.” Its refreshing city-pop-style melody is captivating, while the lyrics evoke a sense of mature romance.
It’s a song you can savor by listening closely, and thanks to its flowing melody, it also feels great to belt out.
My Favorite ThingsNEW!Uehara Hiromi

When it comes to the JR Central travel campaign “Yes, let’s go to Kyoto,” the CM song is, of course, “My Favorite Things” from the musical The Sound of Music, also known as a jazz standard.
Each commercial features a different version, and in the “Around Honganji” edition, a cover by jazz pianist Hiromi Uehara is used.
It begins with a flowing, mysterious atmosphere, then in the latter half unfolds into a crisp, buoyant, and delightfully catchy melody.
You can’t help but be captivated by the ever-changing melodic lines.
A light called hopeNEW!Yamashita Tatsuro

This commercial draws a parallel between entrance exams and mountain climbing, saying that the scenery you see after moving forward step by step is irreplaceable.
It features Takumi Kitamura, and watching his efforts is truly inspiring.
The BGM is Tatsuro Yamashita’s 2010 release “Kibou to Iu Na no Hikari” (“A Light Called Hope”).
With its grand, moving melody and gentle, warm lyrics, it’s a song that soothes the heart as you listen.
Sakura (2020 Chorus)NEW!Moriyama Naotaro

Airing from November 2020, this piece shows high school students and their teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
It vividly portrays how their lives were completely transformed, which makes your heart ache.
Even so, the high school student’s positive words—“We’ve just got to do what we can, right?”—are encouraging.
The song playing in the background of this commercial is a special version of Naotaro Moriyama’s signature track, Sakura—a choral version newly recorded specifically for this CM.
Lost SheepNEW!Yonezu Kenshi

This commercial, which depicts a dystopian future straight out of a sci-fi movie, features Kenshi Yonezu.
As he walks through a desert alongside a giant wolf-like robot, Yonezu says, “The world is changing at a startling pace.” He continues, “But what humans need doesn’t change all that much,” and then picks up a CalorieMate Liquid.
While clearly conveying that it provides essential nutrition, the ad’s distinctive worldview leaves a strong impression.
Yonezu’s “Stray Sheep” is used in this CM.
If you read the lyrics—written with a sci-fi sensibility in mind—you’ll find countless stories to imagine.
Be sure to listen while following along with the lyrics.
Mount FujiNEW!Denki GROOVE

Set in a prison, this commercial—dubbed “Guilty Soda”—is an ad for nope.
Veteran inmate Antony asks Oji Suzuka, who’s just been locked up, “What’d you do to end up here?” Suzuka replies, “I’m guilty of eating ice cream in the middle of the night.” In fact, this prison houses people who’ve given in to everyday temptations.
Then Toma Ikuta appears, ravenously chowing down on fast food and chips.
The concept of nope—“It’s okay to do something sinful when you lose to your appetite!”—is expressed perfectly.
MONSTERNEW!ONE OR EIGHT

The narration “That determination shows on your face” is striking, and in sync with it, a woman with bold face paint appears—this is a commercial for the Professional University of Information and Management for Innovation (International Fashion Professional University).
It speaks of the goal of succeeding on the global stage, and with its music and visuals, it comes together as a very cool CM.
The BGM used is “MONSTER” by ONE OR EIGHT, a Japanese boy group active overseas.
Their powerful vocals and beats are captivating, making it a track that boosts your motivation as you listen.
