Colorful flowers made with paper towels

Realistic flowers made with paper towels! 💐I also tried making a prototype with construction paper, but I felt the paper towel × dyed-paper combo looked more flower-like, so I went with that ✊🏻 ̖́-I’m using 205 ml paper cups! Finished sizes:- Pink flower → about 8.5 cm (20 sheets)- Orange flower → about 9 cm (12 sheets)- Rainbow flower → about 7.5 cm (15 sheets) 🤍If you line up the middle fold of each petal along the rim of the paper cup and layer them, you’ll get a nicely shaped flower! (The rainbow one wasn’t layered alternately very well, so it was a bit of a fail… 🥲)I can’t be the only one who thought, “Ugh, cutting out the bottom of the paper cup is such a pain!!” right? 😇 lolBy the way, I tried a prototype using the drinking rim side of the cup, but maybe because of the lip, it didn’t look like a flower and I wasn’t satisfied with the result 😶‍🌫️While making these, I imagined how cute and personal it would be if the graduates wore corsages they made themselves for the ceremony—and I was just daydreaming as I crafted 🤭🌸Please try making these yourself! 🌈 I’d love to hear if you made one—it really motivates me 🥹❤️‍🔥⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰Thanks for reading to the end 🐶I share ideas that are easy to copy, from intro to crafting ♬︎I’ll cry tears of joy if you like ♥, save 𖤘, and follow 𖤐 😂 lolComments are also very welcome 🤍🤍⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰ ⋱⋰Nursery teacher / Childcare workerKindergarten Teacher#Spring crafts#Wall CreationToddler CraftsPlay that expands from picture booksGraduation Gift Making

We’ll show you how to make colorful flowers using kitchen paper that you can find in any household.

Kitchen paper has a textured surface for absorbing oil, and that texture gives the flowers a unique, lovely finish.

To make them, first cut the kitchen paper into circles and fold each one into quarters.

Dip them into diluted rainbow-colored paints or poster colors.

Then let them dry thoroughly.

Once dry, layer and glue them—slightly offset—onto a paper cup with the bottom removed.

Gently remove the paper cup, and you’re done.

Rainbow-colored butterfly made with masking tape

Why not make a rainbow-colored butterfly using colorful washi tape? This project takes advantage of the tape’s translucency.

First, on a piece of cardstock, apply rainbow washi tape (you can find it at 100-yen shops) in overlapping strips, shifting each piece slightly.

Once you’ve covered the area in the shape of a butterfly, fold it in half, draw a cut line, and cut along the inside of that line with scissors.

Prepare a frame (also available at 100-yen shops), attach the butterfly so that parts extend beyond the frame for effect, add the body, and you’re done.

It moves! A rainbow of accordion art

No pattern needed! It moves! It wiggles! The freely shapeable “Accordion Rainbow”! / “Is an ordinary rainbow not enough for you?” Then this evolved rainbow art is for you! Just fold construction paper like an accordion and you’ve got a big, movable rainbow ✨ Use it on walls, play with kids… the possibilities are endless! Honestly, this is so fun you’ll want to make it even if it’s not for a school entrance ceremony 😂 You can pose it any way you like, so it might even work as a banner…!? What would you use it for? 🤣 If you like, tell me in the comments! Wait, another rainbow again!? 🤣🫱 Since it’s a three-day weekend this week, we did a “Triple Rainbow!” feature ♪ \Make childcare more fun! Bitter Vacation – Mrs. GREEN APPLE

Let me share an idea for making a rainbow with accordion folds.

Cut red, yellow, green, and blue construction paper in half and connect the pieces to create length.

Then connect these four colors vertically to represent the rainbow colors.

Link several of these parts to make it longer, and accordion-fold them to complete a moving accordion art piece! Because the accordion fold lets you freely change the shape, you can create various rainbows—wave shapes, circles, arches, and more.

Make it to your preferred length and brighten up the graduation ceremony wall display.

How about making a rainbow out of children’s handprints? They might feel excited if they can spot their own handprint—“Mine is right here!” First, prepare rainbow colors using poster paints, then let everyone press their handprints onto poster paper however they like.

Roughly cut each one out, and paste them by color onto a large sheet where you’ve sketched a rainbow shape in pencil.

Adding clouds made from tissue paper at both ends of the rainbow would be a lovely touch.

Shuwa-shuwa Honey Lemon 350ml – Sharou

Let’s make a rainbow cherry blossom wall decoration using construction paper like tape.

First, prepare seven colors of construction paper cut into tape-like strips.

Using a stapler, staple in two places to form one petal.

Make five petals in the same way.

When you put them together, one flower is complete.

Continue making flowers in different colors, arrange them in rainbow order, and display them on the wall to create a beautiful rainbow of cherry blossoms.

It’s a lovely wall decoration that expresses both the feeling of spring and the hopefulness of a rainbow.

You can make it with construction paper! Cute flowers

♬ FEEL THE GROOVE – Queens Road, Fabian Graetz

Let’s make cute flowers using construction paper.

First, cut the paper into strips.

Form each strip into a teardrop shape by overlapping the two ends.

Make about 10 of these parts, arrange them in a circle, and glue them together.

Finish by attaching a round piece of construction paper for the flower center.

It’s a very simple idea, but you can create variations even with the same flower shape by changing the strip lengths, doubling the teardrop layers, or using different paper colors.

Make lots of them to create a flower garden on your wall.

Easy! Let’s try using 100-yen shop flower paper

With flower paper (tissue paper) sold at 100-yen shops, you can easily make adorable rainbow-colored flowers.

They’re perfect even when you’re busy—you can whip them up in no time, so they’re great if you’re short on time.

If the flower paper comes pre-accordion-folded in a bundle, just take it out of the bag and separate and fan out each layer.

The key is to peel the layers alternately from the front and back.

Once the flowers are finished, stick them on the wall in rainbow order to create a flower field that looks like a rainbow.

Give it a try!
