Kiss me right nowLINDBERG

LINDBERG is a rock band that debuted in 1989 and sped through the Heisei era.
The vocalist, Maki Watase, actually has experience as a former idol.
While their early releases featured many songs written for them, the lyrics were often by Watase, with compositions frequently handled by guitarist Hirakawa, bassist Kawazoe, and drummer Koyanagi.
In 1997, Watase and Hirakawa, both members of the band, got married.
LINDBERG’s music blends the charm of classic Japanese rock with a breezy freshness that feels like being bathed in wind.
It brings back memories of youth and those innocent, early feelings.
Centered around signature tracks like “Ima Sugu Kiss Me” and “every little thing every precious thing,” which was also cherished as Hanshin Tigers pitcher Kyuji Fujikawa’s entrance song, they have many tunes you’ll find yourself humming along to.
They resumed activities in 2014, and since then they’ve continued to deliver the same undiminished passion.
TriangleChirinuruwo Waka

A band formed around Yuu (Yumi Nakashima) from former GO!GO!7188.
On bass is Eikichi Iwai, who has worked with numerous artists, and on drums is Kosaku Abe, formerly of THE COLLECTORS.
All songs are written and composed by Yumi Nakashima.
Compared to GO!GO!7188, I feel there are even more tracks that fit a sepia-tinged landscape.
Their straightforward band sound—easy to appreciate in any venue, anywhere—is a must-hear.
IKIZAMAEast Of Eden

East Of Eden is a five-piece rock band formed around violinist Ayasa.
Their distinctive musical style—combining a metal-based rock sound with classical violin melodies—has garnered significant attention.
They launched in August 2023, showcasing their prowess with the digital single “Evolve [Extended Version].” In October of the same year, they held their first solo concert at Zepp DiverCity to great success, and in December released the mini-album “Forbidden Fruit -1st piece-.” Each member is a seasoned performer with experience across various bands and projects, and their musical backgrounds and individual personalities blend seamlessly.
With a sound that is both heavy and beautiful and a commanding level of musicianship, they strongly appeal to music fans in search of a new form of rock.
Take me to the ends of the earth!SEBASTIAN X

A four-piece, guitarless band whose standout contrast lies between their boundary-defying pop-oriented sound and literary lyrics.
From the punkish edge of their early days to arrangements infused with elements of folk traditions, their diverse and unique songs have won wide acclaim.
The band’s distinctive, free-flowing melodic lines—born from vocalist Manatsu Nagahara singing melodies a cappella while the members add chords—have surely captivated many fans.
After resuming activities following a self-organized event in 2017, they’ve continued to draw attention as a rock band celebrated for a musical style that refuses to be boxed in.
I ended up looking at my phone.otoboke bi~ba~
Otoboke Beaver is a punk rock band from Osaka.
Formed in 2009 through a Ritsumeikan University music club, they boast a wide musical range—from a distinctive, almost deranged vibe to catchy, pop-leaning songs.
They’ve played festivals in Japan and abroad, and thanks to their especially strong overseas reception, they’re even referred to as a “reimported band.” In 2011, they released a self-produced demo EP and have continued to work energetically since.
Their songs, crafted through tight teamwork among the members, are uniquely theirs.
With their distinctive sound and live performances, they captivate music fans looking for fresh challenges.

This is me.Draft King

Former Stereopony members bring out the aggressive edge they had back then, but now they’ve added a pop sensibility that makes them an even more captivating band.
While they do have that so-called “girls’ band” vibe, their solid musicianship offers much more than that and truly grabs your heart.
NoiseMioyamazaki

MIOYAMAZAKI is a band formed in Tokyo in 2013.
They drew attention with the game app “Maji Yami Kanojo,” which reflects the band’s worldview, and won support—especially among young women—thanks to lyrics by female vocalist mio that depict the darker side of romance and resonate with listeners.
On the composition side, the leader and guitarist, taka, handles nearly all the songs.
The lineup is completed by the youngest member, bassist Shunkichi, and drummer Hang-Chang.
Their song “Menhera” is often cited as a signature track.
While their image shifts from song to song, MIOYAMAZAKI is characterized by an alternative rock sound, delicate vocals, and intensely message-driven lyrics.
Though they disbanded in 2022 to much regret, MIOYAMAZAKI’s music will continue to be etched in our hearts.
