This is a commercial from the “Iza Iza Nara” tourism campaign in Nara Prefecture by JR Central.
In the “Yamato Four Temples” version, Ryohei Suzuki visits Hase-dera in Nara, captured in beautiful visuals.
It’s a spot that makes you rediscover Nara’s charms and think, “I didn’t know there was a place like this in Nara!”

JR Central: Off to Nara, the ‘Asuka’ editionRyohei Suzuki

In the JR Central travel campaign commercial “Iza Iza Nara,” this installment highlights the charms of Asuka Village.
It opens with scenes of the Ishibutai Kofun and the Masuda Iwafune, then Ryohei Suzuki goes on to visit one famous spot after another around Asuka Village.
It ends with a shot of him enjoying delicious-looking dishes at the traditional house restaurant Da terra, leaving a strong impression of someone fully savoring all that Asuka Village has to offer.
Many viewers from outside the prefecture were likely intrigued, thinking, “I had no idea there was a place like this in Nara’s Asuka Village!”

In the TV commercial for Izai-za Nara that aired in the fall of 2022, the Yoshino area in southern Nara Prefecture was featured.
Starting from Kinpusenji Temple, it showcases Yoshinoyama’s gourmet spots and even the Hanayagura Observatory, tightly packing in the charms of Yoshino.
Just as the narration says, “Nara is interesting because you go,” the footage is crafted to make you think, “I want to visit.”

This commercial, aired in 2023 as part of the “Iza Iza Nara” travel campaign to Nara, highlights the appeal of the Takabatake area, where you can feel the rich nature and long history of Kasuga Taisha.
The CM features Ryohei Suzuki actually visiting Nara, and many viewers may have discovered charms of Nara they hadn’t known before after watching this footage.

This is JR Tokai’s “Iza Iza Nara” commercial, which extensively showcases the highlights of Todai-ji and Naramachi.
