In Nissin’s Donbei commercial “Sazae as Dongitsune,” none other than the beloved anime characters Sazae-san and Masuo-san make an appearance! They reenact the exchanges previously done by Gen Hoshino and Riho Yoshioka as the fox spirit, Dongitsune.

When Sazae-san becomes Dongitsune, she reacts in pain as if she herself is being eaten whenever Masuo-san eats Donbei.

Even when told, “Don’t worry about it,” Masuo-san can’t help but worry and can’t eat.

In the end, the regular Sazae-san returns, surprising Masuo-san.

Even the Nissin logo turns into Sazae-san’s silhouette, startling Masuo-san once again.
