Lovely healing music

Music that lulls you into a comfortable sleep. Songs to listen to when going to bed.

Many people find it very calming to play soft, soothing music and close their eyes when they go to sleep, right?

I do that sometimes too!

It’s perfect for a nap on a day off, but I’m sure there are also busy people who think, “I can’t seem to get much time to rest…” or “I want something to heal my tired body after work…”

Those are exactly the people I’d love to recommend this to.

I’ve picked out some gentle, sleep-inducing tracks.

Since a variety of people will be reading this, I intentionally chose songs from different genres.

Find the mood you like!

Good night.

O magnum mysterium (Motecta, 1572) (2004 Remastered Version)
O magnum mysteriumKing's College Choir

O magnum mysterium by the Choir of King’s College, Cambridge, whose choir was founded in 1441.

It is a choral piece sung in a chapel, and the chapel’s unique resonance and harmonies are breathtakingly beautiful—simply superb.

Falling asleep to a piece like this might leave you with a special feeling, different from the everyday.

Debussy: Suite bergamasque, L. 75 – 3. Clair de luneLang Lang

Clair de Lune by Debussy, performed by the Chinese pianist Lang Lang.

Many people have surely spent relaxed time in their bedrooms listening to this classic piano piece.

On cold days, prepare a warm drink and enjoy your own way of spending the night along with this music.

Slow DanceSleepy Fish

This track fuses electronic and natural music, electric and acoustic elements.

It’s a number that blends synthesizers with handclaps.

Compared to the others, it has a slightly more lively feel, but listening to this before bed makes me think I might have better dreams than usual!

The SpheresTenebrae, The Chamber Orchestra Of London

This isn’t a synthesizer-based track—it’s chill music expressed through layered vocals.

It feels like you’re being wrapped up just by listening, and there’s a different sense of presence when it’s human voices.

With its long, sustained notes, this melody will likely make listeners feel very at ease.

Dream #5 [Drifting Apart]charlie dreaming

If you were to add music to imagery in a dream—floating, gently swaying—wouldn’t it sound like this? A delay-drenched electric guitar and synthesizer.

This ensemble reaches our ears so pleasantly.

It’s a track you’ll want to listen to with your eyes closed.

tranquil wavefantompower

Chill electronic music is really deep, isn’t it? This track is also a DTM piece, featuring a cleverly crafted arrangement that makes extensive use of synthesizers.

The off-kilter rhythms feel pleasant, and I think one of the joys is following these quirky sounds with your ears.

Harmony at the End of SummerInoue Yosui & Anzen Chitai

There’s a song that quietly stays by your side on nights when your heart feels a little restless, in the liminal space where summer turns to autumn.

Released in September 1986 by Yosui Inoue and Anzen Chitai, this single was first unveiled at their legendary joint concert at Jingu Stadium the previous August.

Born from the mentor–protégé relationship between Inoue, who recognized their talent, and Anzen Chitai, who once played as his backing band, the work blends Koji Tamaki’s gentle melody with Yosui Inoue’s poetic lyrics to tenderly envelop the listener’s heart.

Though it depicts the end of a love, it somehow carries a warm, reassuring comfort.

It peaked at No.

6 on the Oricon chart and continues to be covered by many artists to this day.

On sleepless nights, surrendering to this beautiful harmony will surely lead you to a peaceful sleep.
