Yamatoji

Do you recognize the traditional Japanese-style BGM playing at Kura Sushi, the conveyor-belt sushi chain with locations nationwide? The track, titled “Yamatoji,” is actually a piece from the C MUSIC Professional Library, a royalty-free collection for commercial use.
It conveys an elegant, calm, distinctly Japanese atmosphere with a subtly modern touch.
Kura Sushi adopts a particularly traditional aesthetic among major conveyor-belt sushi chains—using features like the classic namako-kabe (stucco wall with raised grid) exterior—so this BGM fits the store’s ambiance perfectly.
