Bic Camera Song

Among major consumer electronics retailers, Bic Camera’s theme song is especially famous.
Since it also plays in their TV commercials, many people have likely heard it.
It’s characterized by bright, clear vocals reminiscent of a boys’ choir, and its catchy, familiar melody line is part of its appeal.
In particular, the repeated “Bic Camera” portion is very catchy, and I wouldn’t be surprised if many people find that part replaying in their heads whenever they see a Bic Camera store.
Theme of WAON

Many of you have probably heard it playing when you visit AEON Mall.
It’s the theme song that plays near the WAON information desk, a unique BGM featuring Happy Waon’s bark.
It’s a fresh and cute tune that makes you want to whistle along! Even people who don’t like overly pushy in-store music will likely find it easy on the ears.
It’s quite addictive, but since there aren’t many BGMs that can make you feel refreshed, why not go shopping at AEON Mall to listen to this song?

The Friendly Weekend Song

At the Summit supermarket, there’s in-store BGM you can only hear on weekends.
It’s called “Nakayoshi Weekend Song.” Officially, it’s referred to as the “Weekend Service Theme Song,” and its lyrics—full of onomatopoeia—leave a comical impression that sticks in your head.
By the way, that’s not the only in-store BGM: in the mornings they play “The Don’t-Forget-to-Buy Song (Breakfast Edition),” and there’s also “The Summit Fan Song,” which serves as their theme song.
Give them all a listen! Each one has a different flavor and they’re a lot of fun.
theme song

This upbeat, lively tune really tickles your shopping instincts! It’s the theme song for Maxvalu, the supermarket business operated by the AEON Group.
Since it’s a nationwide chain, many of you have probably heard it before.
The cheerful vocals and positive lyrics—encouraging us to “pile up happy feelings and make fun memories”—are a perfect match.
It’s the kind of song that brings a smile to your face.
Because it hasn’t been released for streaming or on CD, some people even visit the stores just to hear it.
Kusuri no Aoki theme song

Kusuri no Aoki is a drugstore chain with locations mainly in Ishikawa Prefecture.
Its in-store BGM has been getting attention for being “cool, city-pop style.” When you actually listen, you’ll notice how the futuristic, synthesizer-driven sound and a relaxed female vocal create a unique atmosphere you won’t find elsewhere.
The lyrics depict the changing seasons, while conveying how Kusuri no Aoki supports everyday life.
The subtle way this message is woven in is wonderful, isn’t it?
I love meat

Speaking of classic songs you hear in the supermarket meat section, you can’t leave out this one with its irresistibly upbeat vibe.
It’s sung by Rika Ishikawa, formerly of [a certain group].
The lyrics are packed with clever wordplay—like using “meat” and riffing on the baseball term “just meet” (a perfect hit).
Plus, it name-drops all the crowd-pleasing meat dishes—steak, karaage fried chicken, ginger pork, hamburger steak, and more.
Hearing this tune in the meat aisle is enough to make a lot of people think, “Maybe I’ll make a meat dish for dinner tonight!”
Weathercocks are nice, aren’t they?

At Komeri, a home improvement store chain with locations nationwide, this original theme song plays in the store at set times every day.
The song is titled “Weathercocks Are Nice,” a name inspired by Komeri’s logo.
A bright female vocal over a lively, rhythmic accompaniment leaves a strong impression.
The cheerful lyrics add to its charm, and the playful lines that combine a rooster’s crow with the store’s name will make you want to hum along.
The melody is catchy, too, so before you know it, it sticks in your head and won’t let go.
