By making the most of items from 100-yen shops, you can bring a variety of ideas to life.

First, prepare a clear plastic container and attach paper clay to create a base.

From there, you can make the sea or mountains, or even outer space—freely recreate places you want to visit, places you’ve been, or a fantastical world.

You can use stones or shells you’ve picked up, or characters you have at home.

Using your favorite figures makes it even more enjoyable, so it’s highly recommended!

Let’s make a dollhouse that you can open and play with in a flash and tidy up just as quickly, using materials from the dollar store! Prepare a box with an attached lid, and stick fabric, remake sheets (decorative adhesive sheets), and window parts made from papercraft onto the inside walls.

Then just add the small items you usually use for doll play, like a table and chairs, and your handmade dollhouse is complete! When it’s time to clean up, simply put everything back into the box.

If you use a box with a handle, you can carry it around easily, too.

Accessory beads that softly reflect the light are perfect for the summer season when you wear short sleeves.

String the beads firmly with fishing line so there are no gaps, and attach a colored elastic at the end so it fits snugly around the wrist.

Be mindful of how you arrange the beads to give the accessory presence—such as surrounding larger beads with smaller ones, or creating patterns that look like rows of flowers.

One of the biggest charms is how you can express originality through bead arrangement and color choices in your design.

Acrylic keychains are appealing items thanks to their sturdy material, letting you show off the cute designs without worrying much about them breaking when you hang them on a bag.

With that acrylic keychain image in mind, how about making a durable keychain using simple materials? The main component is a sticker of the character you want to feature on the keychain; you cut it out and wrap it with tape to give it an acrylic-like look.

To make it more colorful and more durable, it’s also important to consider which tapes you use and how much you layer them.
