Memorable Commercials [2019] (1–10)
youthSukima Suichi

This is the ACUVUE contact lens commercial titled “Exceptional Comfort,” featuring Erika Toda.
The ad promotes a lens-wearing experience that feels like you’re not wearing anything at all, with no discomfort when putting them in.
The CM song is “Seishun” by Sukima Switch, whose fresh, clear vocals match perfectly.
Erika Toda’s translucent presence is also remarkable.
LG21 MarchTōtasu Matsumoto, Miyazaki Aoi (saki wa daiji)

This is the commercial for Meiji Probio Yogurt LG21, titled “LG21 March: Company Cafeteria.” In the company cafeteria, Aoi Miyazaki lets out a sigh as she faces a hearty, deep-fried lunch.
Then Tortoise Matsumoto appears, cheerfully singing.
While singing, he highlights the recommended points of the yogurt and looks like he’s having a great time, and Aoi Miyazaki ends up starting to sing as well.
They both look like they’re having fun (lol).
Over The RainbowŌhara Sakurako

The song used in the MUSSE PLATINUM commercial featuring Maria Tani is a track by Sakurako Ohara, who enjoys overwhelming support from young women.
In the CM, Maria Tani is shown in a room characterized by a striking turquoise-blue wall and curtains.
The soft, gentle light streaming in and the overall color palette make it clear the ad is aimed at young women.
It’s a bright, refreshing song that perfectly matches the mood of the visuals.

Play A Love SongUtada Hikaru

Speaking of Hikaru Utada, she’s also well-known from the Suntory Natural Mineral Water commercials.
The sparkling version has been made into a refreshing ad that pops like carbonation! “Play A Love Song,” released in 2018, has rather heavy lyrics about past wounds, but with a light, brisk rhythm that evokes the feeling of thawing snow.
AmbivalentKeyakizaka46

This is the 2018 collaborative commercial between Nagatanien and Keyakizaka46, titled “Let’s Meet Over Ochazuke.” Their seventh single, “Ambivalent,” which expresses conflicting emotions, was featured.
It was an unusual collaboration between ochazuke and idols, with member photo cards included in the ochazuke packs!
Ah. There are moments that pass in an instant.Takehara Pisutoru

This is the “That Moment, Vitality (Bicycle)” version of Sumitomo Life’s ‘1UP’ series featuring Eita.
In it, Hajime Ueda, played by Eita, is riding a bicycle; as he waits at a traffic light, he looks at his wrist and smiles—thanks to his Apple Watch.
He can’t help grinning because he’s so pleased with the Apple Watch.
The CM song for this series is by Pistol Takehara.
This one is “Ah.
There Are Moments in a Flash.”
youthZa Hairouzu

“Seishun” (Youth) is a popular song by The High-Lows released in 2000.
The lyrics evoke the sharp sensibilities and freshness of the teenage years, while the driving rhythm gives off a vibe that’s truly “youth!” Michael Leitch of Japan’s national rugby team appeared as a school principal in the video, leaving a strong impression.
