Suntory Drink Smile “Taxi Tales We Can All Relate To” / “Scary Stories from a Taxi”Kozo Sato, An Asahina

This is a commercial by Suntory aimed at encouraging people to drink alcohol safely and responsibly.
The ad unfolds like a ghost story told by a taxi driver.
When he follows the address given by a female passenger, it leads deep into the mountains.
Bracing himself for a horror twist, the driver glances back at the rear seat… Only to hear the woman, finally sobering up, murmur, “Huh? Where are we?” The punchline reveals there’s no horror at all—she was just drunk and gave a strange, incorrect address.
At the end of the commercial, there’s a reminder to drink water when consuming alcohol to avoid ending up in situations like this.
It’s a cleverly humorous ad that makes you want to watch it over and over.
Lake Lake’s ‘Location Shoot Show’ EpisodeChidori, Cookie!

This commercial introduces, through a location shoot featuring the comedy duo Chidori, that “Lake’s thing” refers to Lake’s offer where interest is free for one year, available only to first-time users.
While Chidori are filming on location, Kukkī!—who’s among the onlookers—starts making a fuss, asking, “What is that ‘Lake thing,’ anyway?” The two members of Chidori try to ignore him, but the rest of the crowd starts getting worked up too.
In the end, the question “What is that ‘Lake thing’?” lingers, and it’s likely many people couldn’t help but look it up.
Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Eyebon W Vitamin “Yuchami Recommends It” VersionYuna Furukawa

This is a commercial where Yuchami, aka Yuna Furukawa, talks in Kansai dialect about how comfortable Eyebon is to use.
It’s striking how passionately she says that, after a friend recommended it and she tried it, she was amazed by how good it feels and how well it cleans.
It doesn’t feel like she’s acting; she genuinely seems surprised by the effects, which leaves a very positive impression.
Nintendo Switch Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A “Unite with Everyone and Pokémon” versionRyo Yoshizawa, Elaiza Ikeda

This commercial conveys the world of Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A through the cool demeanor of Ryo Yoshizawa and Elaiza Ikeda.
Drawing on the theme of unity from the game’s story, it communicates that by joining forces, we can face even the greatest obstacles.
The two walk through a cityscape reminiscent of nighttime Lumiose City, with Pokémon at their feet, enhancing the sense of immersion in the work.
The slightly tense atmosphere also seems to heighten interest in the title.
Hoken no Madoguchi: “Insurance That Suits You”Hayato Ichihara, Sakura Inoue

Sakura Inoue, playing the role of a customer, asks Hayato Ichihara, who is playing an apparel shop clerk, “Does this look good on me?” The clothes Inoue is wearing have the word “insurance” printed in various designs, and she’s actually asking not whether the outfit suits her, but whether the insurance suits her.
However, Ichihara keeps replying that it doesn’t suit her at all.
Then Ichihara transforms into a Hoken no Madoguchi staff member and offers to help Inoue find an insurance plan that fits her.
It clearly conveys that at Hoken no Madoguchi, the staff will work with you to figure out what kind of insurance is right for you.
Lawson “Hapitoku Festival: Karaage-kun” versionKenichi Matsuyama, Ourin

This is a commercial announcing the limited-time Hapitoku Festival.
In this Hapitoku Festival, if you buy Karaage-kun, you’ll receive a free drink coupon—it’s a great deal and really appealing.
After Kenichi Matsuyama introduces the campaign details, Ourin says, “You can save on the drink cost!” and uses superpowers to make a beverage float in the air, a cute and memorable touch.
Lawson: “What Does Golden Chicken Taste Like?” (Commercial)Tomio Umezawa

This commercial introducing Karaage-kun’s Golden Chicken flavor opens with Tomio Umezawa quipping, “What kind of flavor is that?!” In response, the ad calls it “the taste of Christmas.” At first you might think, “What does that even mean?” but then you realize, “Oh, the flavor of the chicken you eat at Christmas!”—and your expectations start to rise.
It’s a brilliant pitch that leaves room for viewers to imagine the taste themselves.
