This commercial showcases various people talking about gel pods, highlighting what effects they love and how they use them.

As we see each person moving around and tossing gel pods in, it clearly conveys that they’re easy to use even when you’re busy.
P&G Bold “Marshmallow PON!” VersionCameron Yamada II

Cameron Yamada shows up to visit the neighbor ladies who are enjoying fluffy marshmallows! This Bold detergent commercial starts with that scene, and the key point is “marshmallows.” Since Cameron Yamada had borrowed a towel from the neighbor, he comes to return it freshly washed.
When the neighbor touches the returned towel, it’s just as fluffy as the marshmallows she was holding! Using marshmallows, the ad expresses how incredibly soft and fluffy laundry becomes with Bold, which contains fabric softener.
The Cameron Yamada appearing here is actually the second generation! Unfortunately, details like his real name are not publicly disclosed.
P&G Ariel/Bold Gel Ball Booster “Street Interview” VersionBananaman

The comedy duo Banana Man explains this in detail.
These gel balls contain a stain-decomposing booster ingredient.
It’s also included in Bold’s gel balls, and they’re said to effectively remove tough stains!
P&G Bold “Limousine” VersionMiranda Kerr

The third Yamada Cameron in the Bold commercials was played by the hugely popular model Miranda Kerr.
The Bold ad she appears in has a mature, luxurious vibe that doesn’t feel like a typical laundry detergent commercial.
Riding in a large limousine, Yamada Cameron is complimented by a friend who just got in on how good she smells.
The secret behind that great scent isn’t perfume—it’s Bold laundry detergent! Even the packaging is black, breaking the conventional image of laundry detergent.
With solid performance and a stylish feel, it’s the kind of product that makes you want to pick it up.
P&G Bold Laundry Wagon “Debut” VersionKaren Takizawa

The person appearing in the “Laundry Wagon Debut” segment is the model Karen Takizawa.
On TV, she’s known as a funny personality with a unique sensibility and witty remarks, but in this commercial she shows a different side from what we usually see.
She performs with a clean image fitting for a laundry detergent, and it matches perfectly with the cute atmosphere created by the pastel-colored wagon that serves as a key element of the visuals.
The footage also has a lovely, soft feel with lush greens to highlight Bold’s use of naturally derived ingredients.
