[2026] Bold’s all-time commercials: Spotlight on the funny series (31–40)
P&G “Gel Ball: Caution for Children” Version / For Households with Small Children: “How to Use” Version

Gel pods draw attention for their convenience, but there are also points to be careful about.
This commercial highlights precautions for gel pods and calls on households with children to be mindful.
Because small children may put anything in their mouths out of curiosity, it explains that gel pods—being easy to hold—should be stored out of children’s reach.
It clearly teaches that, even if something is convenient, placing it where it’s easy to grab is not a good idea.
P&G Bold 2014Miranda Kerr

This commercial straightforwardly promotes the convenience of gel pods, which eliminate the need for measuring with spoons or caps.
Miranda Kerr emphasizes that they are a “third type” of detergent, following powder and liquid detergents, and also conveys benefits beyond mere convenience.
Because the visuals evoke a sense of traditional Japanese aesthetics, the narration seems to express the garment’s vibrant finish as well.
P&G Bold 2008Hideo Ishiguro, Daisuke Naito

This commercial conveys, through an exchange between Hideo Ishiguro and Daisuke Naito, that using Bold fabric softener can restore a towel’s softness.
When Daisuke Naito looks saddened that his towel has become less soft, Hideo Ishiguro hands him a new towel, and Naito’s face lights up with happiness at how soft it feels.
But just when you think it’s a brand-new towel, it turns out they only used Bold—clearly showcasing how effective it is.
P&G Bold “Bath” Version

It’s a commercial that feels just like a scene from a romantic movie! You know those classic moments where someone falls in love at first sight on a bus—so relatable.
The detergent’s cleanliness and softness really come through; it’s a lovely ad.
The child is adorable too, giving the whole video a heartwarming feel.
It kind of makes you imagine what happens to these three afterward, doesn’t it? I think it’s a great commercial that also conveys the fluffy, soft feel of the fabric softener!
P&G Bold Laundry Daimyo “Aroma Diffuser” EditionFuma Kikuchi

When it comes to the popular commercial series featuring Fuma Kikuchi, many people will think of the “Laundry Lord.” This time, in the ‘Aroma Diffuser’ edition, Kikuchi—playing the blindfolded Laundry Lord—is comically depicted being surprised by the fresh scent in a room where laundry has been dried indoors.

P&G Bold Laundry Daimyo ‘The Scent Changes’ / Laundry Prince ‘Perfect with Just One, Even at Night’Fuma Kikuchi, Katsumi Koba

This is a commercial where Fuma Kikuchi, appearing as the Laundry Lord or Laundry Prince, promotes the fragrance of Bold detergent.
He conveys the change in scent from when the clothes are hung to dry to when they’re worn, and how the fragrance lasts a long time, through expressions of surprise.
His satisfied smiles and lively movements comically highlight the product’s appeal, clearly reinforcing Bold’s friendly, everyday image.
P&G Bold: “Refreshing Soda” VersionKarolina Pisarek, Yuko Ogura

Yuko Ogura shows up with some soda to visit Karolina Pisarek, the fifth-generation Yamada Cameron, who’s doing the laundry.
Despite Ogura’s kind offer to take a break with some fizzy soda, a gust of wind sends the laundry flying and sticking to her face.
But the laundry is as crisp and refreshing as soda! The reason? Bold now contains Lenor Deodorant, known for its clean, refreshing scent.
In the end, the two felt even more refreshed than from drinking soda—making for a Bold commercial to remember.
