Snow Brand Megmilk Katsugen: Drink to win the match! “For you, too” version
This is a commercial for Soft Katsugen, a lactic acid bacteria drink that’s especially famous among Hokkaido’s local beverages.
Playing on the product name “Katsugen,” it rhythmically promotes it as a good-luck charm, set to the classic 3-3-7 cheer beat.
It’s a CM that sticks with you after just one viewing.
Hokkaido Marukawa Co., Ltd. “Snow Rabbit Silken Tofu / Firm Tofu 3-Layer” Version
This commercial, featuring children with red noses and big ears cheerfully dancing, is for Hokkaido Marukawa’s Yuki Usagi Tofu.
The original song, which highlights its beautiful appearance and soft texture, is likely familiar to people in Hokkaido.
Sapporo Factory: Time spent with someone special. “Sapporo Christmas Factory” edition
This is a Christmas commercial for Sapporo Factory, a shopping mall in Sapporo.
In addition to highlighting its variety of stores—restaurants, fashion and accessories shops, a movie theater, and more—it also showcases the beautiful illuminations during the Christmas season.
The commercial conveys a wish for people to visit with their loved ones, such as family or romantic partners.
The 57th Banei Kinen (BG1)
This is a commercial introducing Ban’ei horse racing, held only in Obihiro, Hokkaido—the sole place in Japan where it takes place.

AC Japan “I Am Ainu.” (version)
This commercial features an Ainu woman speaking about her roots and her vision for an ideal world.

Tokachi Ohagi Sazae
This is a commercial for Tokachi Ohagi produced by Sazae Foods.
Tokachi Ohagi, Sazae Foods’ flagship product, is made using ingredients from Hokkaido.
With its footage of a yellow hot-air balloon, this commercial is sure to evoke nostalgia for those from Hokkaido.
Many people will also recognize the song featured in the CM, “Tomichan no Uta” performed by Tefukin.

Sapporo Beer Sapporo Classic “Local Friends” VersionTaka and Toshi
In the Hokkaido-exclusive beer Sapporo Classic commercial, the duo Taka and Toshi, who are from Hokkaido, make an appearance.
This installment is titled “Hometown Friends,” and shows them reminiscing with their local friends, Sapporo Classic in hand.
The direction, which spotlights the land of Hokkaido, is particularly appealing.
The gentle background music is an original song created for the commercial, titled “Let’s Drink Here.” It’s sung by Taka and Toshi, and their unpretentious, down-to-earth vocals add an extra touch of warmth.
