They range from friendly, story-driven pieces designed to spark interest in the sport itself to spots announcing major races.

Many of these commercials feature footage of racehorses thundering down the track, which I think catches a lot of viewers’ eyes.

JRA Ryoma, profitable horse. “Thanks W Plus” version / Ryoma, instant horse. “Instant PAT” versionRyoma Takeuchi

This is a commercial introducing Thanks W Plus, which increases payout and UMACA point rates, and iPAT, which lets you buy betting tickets anywhere on your smartphone.

In the two commercials, Ryoma Takeuchi plays a fan enjoying horse racing.

You can tell from Takeuchi’s expressions just how much he’s looking forward to the races.

JRA-VAN ‘Excited Kinnikun: Paddock’ version / ‘Nakayama Kinnikun vs. Almond Eye: Workout’ versionNakayama Kinnikun

In the JRA-VAN commercials, which let you enjoy horse racing on your PC or smartphone, Nakayama Kinnikun appears as a racehorse.

In the “Overexcited Kinnikun: Paddock” version, he’s shown walking around the paddock, and in the “Nakayama Kinnikun vs.

Almond Eye: Final Workout” version, he dashes across the track and puts up a good fight against Almond Eye.

As always, commercials featuring Nakayama Kinnikun are full of humor and very entertaining.
