Memorable Commercials [July 2025] (401–410)
parabolaOfisharu Higedan Dism

This is a series of commercials showing Mei Nagano and Shinya Kote enjoying Calpis.
In the “Lemon” version, Kote introduces Calpis Water Lemon to Nagano.
Meanwhile, in the “Beach” and “Mascot Costume Part-time Job” versions, Kote is in situations where he can’t drink Calpis right away—buried in sand or working inside a mascot suit—watching Nagano sip her Calpis deliciously with a look of envy.
At the end of the commercials, the two of them are shown drinking Calpis together in a refreshing scene.
The BGM for these commercials features Official HIGE DANDism’s “Parabola,” whose typically breezy melody is paired with lyrics that feel like a cheer for new beginnings.
Listening to it lifts your spirits and makes you feel positive.
Sukisa ~Ticket To Love~TOKIO

This is a 1996 commercial featuring Tomoya Nagase, who served as the guitarist and vocalist of TOKIO.
It’s memorable for its impactful direction: Nagase, appearing in a city advertisement, suddenly starts singing and then bursts out on a skateboard.
His fresh, charming smile as a teenager at the time is truly appealing.
The song he performs in the CM is TOKIO’s “Sukisa ~Ticket To Love~,” released in 1995.
It’s a track that portrays passionate feelings of love, with a catchy melody that sticks in your head after just one listen.
LovelyUA

This commercial shows friends and families spending warm, wonderful moments together.
It portrays irreplaceable time each of them shares—and Calpis is right there beside them.
Watching it may have brought back precious memories for many of you.
The song playing over these heartwarming visuals is “Lovely,” a signature track released by Kenji Ozawa in 1994.
For this CM, a cover version by UA has been used.
It’s even more mellow and warm than the original, making it irresistibly captivating.
lucky coloraimyon

Titled “Gaze,” this commercial centers on a warm look from a mother to her child.
Masami Nagasawa plays the mother, and a young girl plays the child who makes Calpis for her.
Watching her, Nagasawa says she feels both happy and a little lonely.
The heartwarming CM features Aimyon’s song “Lucky Color” as the BGM—a gentle, mid-tempo track that is a cute, upbeat depiction of straightforward feelings of love.

Blue Light Yokohamakurisu haato

This is a commercial highlighting the taste of Calpis Light Blue, which contains no sugar.
Masami Nagasawa appears while singing a parody of Ayumi Ishida’s signature 1968 hit “Blue Light Yokohama,” showing a surprised expression at its light flavor and the fact that it doesn’t use sugar.
When Nagasawa says, “Wait, there’s no sugar in this?” Chris Hart appears and replies, “That’s right.” It turns out the parody song we’d been hearing was actually sung by Chris Hart.
Many viewers were likely captivated by his mellow, deeply sensual voice.
Original song

Aomori is now widely known as a premier apple-growing region, but the cultivation of Western apples there began in 1875, when three saplings were planted.
Looking back on that history, the piece introduces the milestone of 150 years since those first plantings, which will be marked in 2025.
It follows the journey from production to distribution and finally to the apples reaching our hands, ending with scenes of people enjoying apples deliciously.
The lovely CM’s BGM is an original song made specifically for this commercial—a newly written track with a fresh feel, whose lyrics celebrate the deliciousness of apples.
KIRAKIRA DAYSDream Ami

In this commercial commemorating Kamogawa Sea World’s 55th anniversary, footage of orcas filmed over the past eight years is shown.
The orcas featured are Lara and Luna, beautifully captured with a super slow-motion camera as they perform magnificent jumps.
The background music is “KIRAKIRA DAYS,” which has also been chosen as Kamogawa Sea World’s theme song.
The track is sung by Dream Ami, who also wrote the lyrics.
Its bright and refreshing vibe is part of its charm.
