Darkness Theater

[First Collaboration] Also great for birthday parties! A “Dark Theater” kids will love, from Fuu-nyan TV (Preschool Teacher)
Darkness Theater

Many children feel scared of the dark, right? This “Darkness Theater” lets even those kids enjoy it.

Only the picture inside the theater goes dark.

It’s easy to make: first, put an uncolored drawing—like a coloring page—into a transparent bag such as a Ziploc.

Trace the lines and add colors on top of the Ziploc using a marker.

Then remove the coloring page inside, insert black construction paper, and the theater portion is complete.

But you can’t see the picture like that, can you? That’s where the paper flashlight comes in! Make a flashlight shape out of construction paper that looks like it’s turned on, with light shining out.

Be sure to use bright colors like yellow for the light.

When you insert this flashlight into the Ziploc, the areas “lit” by the flashlight become visible, and your Darkness Theater is complete!

Sushi Picnic

The song “Sushi Picnic,” familiar from children’s TV shows, features all kinds of sushi toppings.

Let’s have fun performing a dance to “Sushi Picnic.” Beyond dancing, you can prepare toppings, wear them on your back to become a piece of sushi, or throw on something like a black cape and hold the topping to turn into a sushi roll.

Kids get excited when their favorite sushi topping makes an appearance.

Celebrate the kids with an impactful performance! Here are four balloon art ideas.

Balloon art is the craft of creating various shapes and designs using balloons.

After inflating the balloons, twist and tie them to make animals or flowers.

It’s great to interact and communicate with the children during the making process so everyone has fun together.

From simple to complex pieces, it can be enjoyed at various levels, making it a highly recommended idea.

A bucket that keeps producing gifts one after another

Gifts keep appearing one after another, and the kids are guaranteed to be thrilled! Here’s a magic trick using a bucket.

Cover the bucket with a sheet of newspaper and secure it with a rubber band; then, as you chant a magic spell and tear the newspaper, gifts start appearing from inside one after another.

The key to this trick is to secretly keep a bag filled with gifts hidden on the backside of the newspaper, and when you’ve finished taking all the gifts out, roll up the newspaper together with the bag so it stays out of sight.

Your performance is also crucial, so practice several times to master it and keep the secret from being discovered!

Theater: Birthday Feast

Theater: Birthday Feast

When you think of birthday parties, everyone gets excited and has fun, right? One of the biggest highlights of birthdays is the party—especially getting to eat a feast.

Everyone has different favorites, but that’s part of the fun: chatting about this and that while enjoying it together.

I’m sure an activity where you turn birthday treats into a song and present it in a little theater would really liven things up.

You can make shapes like circles and triangles out of colored paper, in a way that isn’t obvious at first glance, then layer them on a clear board—like acrylic or shrink plastic—so they turn into food.

It’s easy to make with a sketchbook, shrink plastic sheets, and colored paper.
