Impersonation ‘TT Brothers’

The comedy duo Chocolate Planet’s sketch “TT Brothers.” They’re so popular—especially with kids—that they get cheers just by showing up.
The TT Brothers spot the letter “T” hidden in everyday life, then shout, sing, and dance about it.
If someone close to the kids—like a parent or a teacher—does the TT Brothers routine, it’s sure to be a huge hit! It’ll make for a performance that gets everyone roaring with laughter!
Magic Theater: The Ghoul Cake

When we think of birthdays and Christmas, cake is a must, right? Kids love cake, and just hearing the word probably gets them super excited! This magic theater show, “Obake-ke” (Ghost-Cake), is a delightful and thrilling panel theater: its outline looks like a ghost—like a living creature—yet it also turns into a cake.
Children are sure to enjoy the series of cute little ghosts that appear one after another! Ask, “Is it a ghost? Or is it a cake?” as you perform to build excitement!
Piñata

Do you all know about piñatas? They’re like the Japanese kusudama, and in Mexico they’re an essential part of celebrations such as children’s birthday parties.
Piñatas are filled with treats and other things kids love, and everyone takes turns hitting them with a stick to break them open and get what’s inside.
They’re easy to make at home, much like a kusudama, so I recommend giving it a try.

Pantomime: Speed Remote Control

Let’s make a “speed remote control” that can move people however you want, and put on a pantomime performance.
Create a remote out of cardboard with buttons like Start, Stop, Fast Forward, Rewind, and Slow.
Press the buttons while saying their names out loud so everyone knows which one you’re pressing, and the people in front of you will stop, move in slow motion, or otherwise move according to the buttons.
Kurukuru Theater: The Magic Microwave

A perfect theater piece for a birthday party: the Magic Microwave.
Toss the ingredients into a microwave made from construction paper, close the lid, say a magic spell, give it a spin, and… out comes a magnificent birthday cake! The trick behind this magic microwave is to prepare identical microwaves for the front and back.
On one side, you put in the ingredients; on the back side, you have the finished cake ready.
As you explain the ingredients to the children, pretend to press the microwave buttons and chat cheerfully while you go along.
The kids are sure to love it.
Dance ‘Paprika’

Why not have the nursery teachers try Foorin’s “Paprika,” a song beloved by children? Many kids may already have mastered it, but if the teachers perform the “Paprika” dance, the children will surely be delighted! The choreography is simple enough to dance even without prior dance experience, so teachers who aren’t confident in dance or physical activity can do it easily.
It would also make a great surprise performance at various events.
Once the children can dance together with their teachers, they’ll enjoy dancing even more!
Panel Theater: Forest Christmas

This is a panel theater piece called “Christmas in the Forest.” It tells the story of Santa giving the forest animals the gifts they want for Christmas, all performed on a panel with a cute melody and song.
A long-necked giraffe wishes for a scarf, and a lion wants a crown.
The gifts they desire come out of Santa’s big sack.
