“With land prices soaring, leaving gaps unused is an economic loss.” That’s the premise of this commercial, which explores how to make use of the space between a cupboard and a refrigerator.

Despite opening with such a stiff line, the next scene suddenly shifts to charming ideas: a child places a toy monkey there and even turns it into a parking lot for a toy car.

None of those ideas make the cut, though, and in the end they put a slim freezer called “Sukimax” in the gap.

It’s a witty ad with great pacing that keeps you watching right to the end!
